That signature quote at the bottom.....I'm going to guess it was posted by an American philosopher named Mike Smith, say maybe in 1998.

Certainly no Preakness for BirdBird unless they re-write the conditions as a 35,000 claiming race.

Birdbirdistheword can be a nice turf horse. His win over the turf at Arlington was good then he beat a decent field in a grass stakes at Louisiana Downs, so he has some turf talent. Thank God he's off the Derby trail and not potentially knocking a deserving horse out.
