Where are the loudmouths who bashed IEAh?
You know, I seem to rermember a few folks who ridiculed IEAh for purchasing Kip at 500 grand. They spoke of inferior pedigree and assorted other nonsense.
Well guess what??!!! they got back 200 K today in his first start for them and after running 6 furlongs in 1:08:4 witha 17 length lead and breaking from the 14 hole with an inexperienced jock, they could selll him now for a mill with no problems, most likely more. The winner was great, no doubt, but really he had a great jock on his back and saved all ground from the one hole while the other horse put on a dazzling display from an awful post with a minor league jock. The difference between the two is marginal at best, and if you asked me who I think will be a factor going forward, I would say Kip will be at LEAST as prominent as Showing Up will be. I guess maybe that 500 grand was a bargain huh? Maybe you guys should let bloodstock agents do the buying, obviously your opinons aren't much good. |
Geez all you guys must have remembered important things you had to go do, because you sure had a lot to say about how bad the purchase was a few weks ago.

Talking to yourself over here. :p For the record I said KD could finish second. Just read the posts.

What is your opinion if they really paid $500K for the horse? I don't see it unless they just think these million dollar races are up for grabs. None of these horses come the fall will be able to make any real money on the grass with the exception of these two races and one at arlington.
