Looking for a Challenge?...SA Wed

Card is tough...late pk4 looks very very tough. At first glance I see a very difficult pk4, and impossible pk6.

Try looking @ AQ late pick 4 wed. geez!!! although Pr. wine could be a single in the 1st leg at a short price, I still think it will pay. The nightcap is a crapshoot, bomb very likely.

Rootdog1 04-10-2007 04:36 PM

root sa picks..

Rootdog1 04-10-2007 10:01 PM

1)1,4,6,7
2)1,2,3
3)2,4,5,7 Really like these best, tossing 2-1 Mesa, with the cut back I think he gets fried up front. Like the 5 and 7 best
4)2,3,4,8 - LOVE the 3 @ 10-1, pace to run at and this guy has been chasing some serious 3 yr old stakes horses. Like the 5 a bit at 12-1, I think he will improve on the turf but there is alot of other speed in here and not sure he will relax first time down the hill. I am not sold Sunshine Ridge is sound, and am staying away in favor of the price plays.

I will prob play a pk3 starting in the 2nd with these, and then widdle the pk 4 down to a cheap ticket using some of these prices I like in the 3rd and 4th.

5)3,8,5 TJ picks up the mount on the speedy #5..scares me enough to use
6)4,5,6,7 Tough race, lots of pressure up front but I am interested in the #5 at 20-1 on the cut back and drop in class. Knapp is horrible and he always burns me but I cant help myself at that price.
7)1,3,5,8,10 Race is impossible. Interested in #3 @ 15-1, raced out of condition last time and loses the shades and picks up John Kenton Court. Something tells me watch out. Not sold Dynamatic is the real deal, Bien Dulce is an X factor but Sid and Jenny Craig dont acquire junk horses. May not use the 10, but I like the fact this guy is now relaxing and coming from off the pace. I think he puts it together real soon, but hate the bug is on him.
8)8,4 I hear Hewitts is the real deal.

I will widdle this down to a reasonable pk4 and pk6 tomorrow after scratches.

Pk6 - Initial thoughts, prob will update tomorrow.
3)2,5,7
4)3
5)8
6)4,5,7
7)1,3,8,10
8)4,8

My modest investment into what is probably the hardest Wednesday pick 4 I've ever seen..

2,8
1,2,4,7
1,5,7
5,6

$48

good luck to all playing

TitanSooner 04-11-2007 05:08 PM

ok.. pick 3 now

Rootdog1 04-11-2007 05:43 PM

BAD day for rootdog.....sorry folks. We just need a price here and we will be on our way to a carryover for Thursday

Race 7 $1 Tri box 1/3/8/10

TitanSooner 04-11-2007 06:19 PM

root.. hear anything of this 5 horse in the 8th?? that 1:10 and change work is glaring at me along with a nice string of steady ones.

Rootdog1 04-11-2007 06:33 PM

Headly works them fast in the AM, but yes that 1:10 is faster then avg. If he was live he would be even money, and Solis would be aboard. I like the 2/4/8. I dont think Beau Smoke will like the 6.5f unless he gets an easy lead, which is unlikely with the 2 & 5 looking quick in the AM.

In short, I think the 5 and 6 stop in the lane and there will be a few of them fighting at the wire.

Based on my picks today, I would draw your own conclusions though.....I am wrong way more then I am right. Just think it is strange that he is not super live on the board and he has pedroza up.
