Somer-Wedding Bells

Did you read that it got cancelled? Dang Fox doesn't give a show a chance. I so wanted to see The Wedding Singer hook up with that Crazy White Woman! :D

And here I was thinking that you and Somer were tying the knot, Buffy! LOL

I like Somer but not enough to go to prison...

Buffy,
I hadn't heard but based on the critics and the ratings it was getting, not a surprise. I thought it was a great start to what could have been a very good series...extremely funny! It seems that a lot of folks took exception to making light of weddings...it was a comedy dammit! Oh well...have you seen Blood Ties yet?

Not yet. I didn't get home in time last week to record it. I had forgotten about it.

It's not too bad...I really like the lead character, she is like an older Buffy with a quick wit. The story lines are OK, the vamp is adaquate, cop boy friend decent, her asst. has a lot of promise (underused so far)...it's growing on me. So far, she's fought demons, telekinetic powers, zombies and ghosts. It's not Buffy/Angel, nor Forever Knight or Xena but could evolve into the best fantasy-related show on TV right now. By the way, Buffy volume #2 is great!

My friend was going to go get them (#1 & #2) for us. Can you believe we forgot? I emailed her yesterday and she said "WHAT? I AM TOO BUSY TO REMEMBER BUFFY?"

I was at the local comic store yesterday to get episode 2, they still had some episode 1 left. It's selling extremely well. I'm really enjoying it...Dark Horse has the first 6 pages of episode 3 at their site but you really need to see the first two before it would make sense.

I don't want to peek. I will probably try and get both of them this weekend.

I checked out TV without pity site...Wedding Bells, Six Degrees are cancelled and The Black Donnelly's (sp?) appears doomed as it's timeslot has been taken. There will be a total of 7 episodes of Wedding Bells made...tomorrow night the last one aired at this time.

I didn't watch 6 degrees or The Black Donnelly's (I was boycotting that show in hopes of getting Studio 60 back sooner, but NBC nixed that idea with some other new show.)

Yeah, never watched either one myself, someone on here said the Black Donnellys was good. I'm disappointed about Wedding Bells but have learned to expect the worst...I only hope Drive gets a chance but they already announced a split season for that. Tim Minear just can't catch a break...

I thought I would try Drive. I just have so many things that I watch. I am still only up to last Friday's shows. I am so far behind after going away for the weekend.

Right now, I have only House, Bones, AI and Blood Ties. Veronica Mars in limbo. I'll try Drive...really want to like it for Tim and Nathan's sake. I still have two seasons of Xena to watch in my spare time as well.
