Magnificience running today

Bruce Headley's 3 yr old filly goes again today in thr 3rd at Santa Anita.. Was very, very impressive in her maiden romp.. 3 other fillys to beat though.. Who was the horse that ran second to her last time out?? Ran against some stiff competition last 2 if I'm not mistaken..

This race sucks ass.

With this tiny field it should set up well for Coco Belle. Magnificience will have to be real good to win.

ArlJim78 04-01-2007 03:34 PM

Well she's good!!!!!!

Spendabuck85 04-01-2007 03:35 PM

She's real good, broke nicely. Impressive win.

I know it was only a 4 horse field...but I loved the way whe moved...switched leads perfectly and once she did that...she pulled away impressively.

Very professional for a 2nd time starter.

Coach Pants 04-01-2007 03:37 PM

Strong workout.

ArlJim78 04-01-2007 03:40 PM

holy cow! 1:14.61

6.5 furlongs? she improved a full second of her first try.

fast filly here.

Coach Pants 04-01-2007 03:40 PM

Is that the Iron Sheik holding the crystal trophy?

Sightseek 04-01-2007 03:41 PM

Coach Pants 04-01-2007 03:41 PM

When she changed leads and pinned her ears alittle more,,,,,,,,,,,,,, She took off like a rocket and went 1:14 for 6 1/2f . Looked impressive to me.

that was the only thing I was looking for as they turned for home...and when she did...you are right...she took off. Granted Coco Belle backing up made it look even better...but still, she looked very professional in her stride.

I'm just glad I was able to feel her legs through the computer screen...that gave me all indications she was fit and ready to run. Nice conformation too...

Alex said that she put herself on the pace and he was just along for the ride.

How many races do you think she'll have in her career? I say no more than 10.
