Noble Court

Anyone know the status of San Vicente winner Noble Court? He was listed as a go for this past weekend's San Felipe but he did not turn up.

Is he still on the Derby Trail? Thanks in advance for the help!

im not sure about him, but i like the second place winner out of the race alot more, law breaker, and was very disapointed seeing him scratch this past weekend..... are you high on noble court ?

From a pedigree standpoint I am leary that a Doneraile Court can get the derby distance. He is a great looking colt though. As with the previous thread I was more impressed with the runner-up in his last race. Noble Court looks like he would have a very nice career as a miler.

I was also disappointed to see Law Breaker scratch out. What I like about Noble Court is that he has shown some different dimensions in his races.

I'm not sure I love him, but he peaks my interest a bit.

I believe he lost a shoe in the San Vincente, and still won.
Maybe he came out of that race a little sore because of that?

That makes sense. At this point he's probably not going to be a real contender May 5th, but it would be nice to see him turn up somewhere in the next few weeks.

Ah, here's some info from DRF's Brad Free -

Sadler said his colt Noble Court, winner of the Grade 2 San Vicente at seven furlongs, has returned to the track after missing 10 days of training with a foot abscess.

"It was terrible timing," Sadler said.

The original plan for Noble Court was a start in the San Felipe. Sadler said he will consider the Santa Anita Derby and Blue Grass Stakes for Noble Court, but cautioned, "I'm not going to do anything that would jeopardize him."
