I only have the sixth horse.

It's posted in another thread and sometimes a little reading goes a long way.

Thanks, Merasmag! Just got back from the barn. He came back great after the race and has continued to do well. Maybe Calvin could have got us a better run, maybe not. I find it hard to see any jock taking our mount that would have passed Curlin. He had that LUCK we all hope for in a race. However, we're looking forward to The AR Derby.

I do hope that Officer Rocket comes out of his race well, and you all continue to have good days in training, and good racing luck on those coming days that he is entered to race.

And wishing him soundness and good health.

He wasn't going to beat Curlin but with a more patient and well thought out ride he certainly would have been closer.

lol, what do you mean, I am sure if you say it like this "Ok look Mr Holthus, this one time on the DerbyTrail.com message board"..... I am sure he will listen and slap his forhead and say "Why didnt I think of that"!!!!! ;)

thanks for the comments! Mr Bob was rushed to the hospital Sunday in an ambulance from the track after passing out. However, shortly after, we received word that he was only dehydrated. He was put on an IV and released after a short stay. I will let him know of everyones nice comments. Let's see what we can do on April 14.

lol. mr holthus and his wife kinda took me under their wing when i was in high school and trying to learn about the industry. then i went off to college and i havent seen them in years.

last time i spent time with bonnie was at the 99 BC. I was able to spend the day with her in a box and she introduced me to Hugh Heffner!! back then i didnt know who he was but he did have a few pretty girls with him.
