Derbystats.com

I love the Derby. I have been attending for the past 18 years and every year I gain a greater appreciation of the horses, owners, trainers, etc.

I am a big NUMBERS guy so I always spend a countless number of hours every year gathering statistics on each horse. My friends have been urging me to start a website to sell my Derby stats.

Please register at www.Derbystats.com for $10. You will receive over 150 stats for each Derby horse a few days before the race. Each stat will be in a sortable format that will allow you to rank, sort, add calculations, etc. It is a fun way to handicapp. Also, if when you register, I will provide weekly emails with Prep race updates, odd and end statistics and other Derby type information. In addition I have a members only section with access to some Derby stats.

This will help fund my Derby trip and give you a bit different information on the Derby. Please support me at www.Derbystats.com and tell your friends.

I know everyone has had fun bashing me. I set myself up really good. I truly did not communicate my motives very clear.

It is true that I do get a lot of my statistic for the Louisville Courier, KentuckyDerby.com and various other places, but I spend a lot of time accumulating and calculating many other values. I use Brisnet, DRF, Equibase, pedigree, ect. I have yet to find all of this data in the same location. I also do a lot of averaging and such. One of the key things I do is take all of the Derby Watch rankings and Kentucky Derby.com rankings and do statistical averages for each Derby Contender.

As a Derby fan I have a lot of fun using the stats I find and trying to use them to find the 'Diamond in the Rough'. I though others might as well.

Sorry for the confusion.

its all good dude, i wasnt bashing you with my previous post. Just wanted to tell you to check into copyright laws because I noticed some of the text seemed copied and pasted off kentuckyderby.com. dont want to get into trouble and miss the derby! anyways, good luck getting to KY!

2 Dollar Bill 03-12-2007 05:00 PM

I think it works this way....
I sent a letter to 10 people and they send me $ 10.00
Then these 10 people sent it to this letter to 20 more people and sent
the first person on the list $10.00.. and these 200 people sent to ten people and cross off the first person and send to the second person and send out to the 2000 x 10 people.... ...... [ are you getting the hang of this]
Then you will be able to Buy a Derby Horse and go for free !! :p

As a fellow "Sean" I may have been prone to being sympathetic toward you, but you may not have realized that we - the members of this board - are the greatest handicappers in the history of humanity.
Statistics....we don't need no stinking statistics.
Also....nobody on here can afford the $10.

TheSpyder 03-12-2007 05:31 PM

My $5.00 Web site

OK, here's how it works. Go to my web site www.derbywinner.com and you will see the entire site has only one number, the winning number which this year will be 3 ...ooops I wasn't suppose to write that. Damn, there goes my business.

Anyway, it all boils down to one number and early in the prep season I get all the information for you and put it under my bed. I then drink myself into oblivion and pass out. As I go into a dream state I begin to see the upcoming Derby unfold as clear as day ....a day after 5 Mint Julips and voila, I see the winning horse cross the finish line.

As I said, this year it will be the 3. Although I won't get your money now cause I spilled the beans, just remember you heard it here first. This years Deby winner will be the 3 .........now all I have to do is repeat this 19 more times over the next seven weeks.

Look for the next upcoming version: the number 7 horse
