John Henry turns 32 tomorrow!
 

Happy birthday to a great horse...still as mean and nasty as ever so they say! A true hero...one of the best!

i saw the article earlier, and got a good laugh at the headline. you know those folks will miss him terribly when he's gone-may that be many years from now.
i can't think of a better horse to set the record for longevity. go john henry!

i dont know man. back in 2000, tammy (his groom) brought him and cigar out for me and a couple of other aolers and he was extremely nice. he let me pet him for as long as i wanted.

maybe he senses fear in people?

anyways, it's good to see him still kickin.

Will he beat Anna Nicole's record? Anna -250 JH +200 (39 for a horse will be hard to do)

i really enjoyed watching him race on all types of tracks.
one of the best.

My G-Pa still maintained to his death The Bart beat him and they rigged the 'photo'.

Tomorrow is the love of my life's birthday too -- my wife! Glad to discover that she shares her special day with one of the all-time greats, John Henry.

I will hoist a glass in his honor tomorrow evening.

What a horse. He is what all racehorses should aspire to be! Happy Birthday ya ole cuss! ;)

my wife has him as a screen saver. she got to pet him at the horse park 2 years ago.
