So Ken McPeek adds to the mix here with Bold Start. Add the blinks, and feels this will be allot easier than the Bull.

Todd has a nice dou though, and will be tough to beat, so how easy will this be Ken??

While I don't think he is the best horse in the field there is reason to believe that his last race wasn't a good example of the type of talent he may have. He was coming off a big effort in his allowance win and was on a fairly short layoff. He gets an extra week and blinkers and the horse he defeated in his Maiden, Meritocracy, is being run in the FOY and has shown to be a decent one himself.

I was talking to steve earlier today and I said "I think Bold Start will win today...and if he doesn't King of the Roxy will" so I bet Bold start straight and didn't bother with the exacta:rolleyes:

My boy came up empty :(

He had a little trouble on the turn, but nothing to merit the sound defeat he experienced. Hopefully they'll give him one more try around two turns on the dirt before taking him off the Trail.
