question onthorograph figs

when a horse has trouble, for example, steadied, bumped, broke slowly, etc.. are these problems already accounted for in the final figs or do they need to be adjusted on your own.

That kind of trouble is not accounted for in any kind of sheet style figures.

Ground loss, and weight carried by the jockey are the things adjusted into sheet style figs that aren't adjusted into Beyer Style figs.

Also, Beyer style figs split sprint and route variants.

Sheet style figs use wind data and take the one variant approach.

Of the two commercial sheet style figs---Thoro-Graph is far more likely to "cut a race loose" and use a seperant variant for an individual race.

Thorograph uses multiple variants in a day sometimes, where Rags uses ONE only. This is a huge argument between JB and Friedmen

Yes, that is what I was reffering to in my last line

Don't remember exactly why Brown left Ragozin (I'm sure he's discussed the matter in depth on his site), but trouble is designated with a "tu" next to the number for "regular" trouble, and a capital "T" for major trouble. So the answer to the question is, like Drugs said, trouble is not accounted for in the final numbers, as it is unquantifiable. And, as Andy will attest I'm sure, this is where replays and trip handicapping comes into play.

I have no idea why he left, but I do know that I heard that some of their fights were lengendary, and Brown calls him out all the time on his message board, and Friedman only replys 2 out of 10 times maybe......

That is a good old fashion read, It looks like Brown has 'chilled' out recently, probably with his age and success....Some of that post is hilarious. Byk will love reading that
