Happy Birthday, ArlJim!

Wanted to make you a cake.....

... but ummm..... there was a little problem.....

Thought okay, I'll write you a song but I tried it out on my neighbors, and had to leave to buy 12 cases of something.

Anyway, hope your birthday is wonderful and filled with surprises.

Scav 02-23-2007 08:19 AM

Happy Birthday Mr. Jim, all weekender at TRACKSIDE? I am cruising up on my lunch to unload on the 6 horse in the 8th race at Gulfstream, might be a whole paychecker

SB, no crazy horse here in Chi-town but there is always, ALWAYS the Admiral, it is where I broke my strip club cherry and was on stage for my 18th birthday, oh the memories.....

Huh? Right around the corner from MudBug. Kngsbury St, I think.

You've got to get out of the suburbs.

Even my mother knows about The Horse.

Happy Birthday ArlJim! Many many more!

randallscott35 02-23-2007 08:23 AM

Congrats Jimmy Boy. Many more.

Happy Birthday to one of the most thoughtful, witty, and level-headed posters on this or any other board (must be a Chicago thing).

Happy Birthday, ArlJim!

Ha ha, I know it's his birthday cause I know the birthday of every single person who ever went to Arlington to stalk the greatest horse who ever lived (slight exaggeration :D ) for me and get his picture!

Oh wait a sec..... he was the only one to do that.

There you go! :p

Again, happy birthday and Ace said to send you some of these.....

Thanks a bunch everyone, that is very nice and unexpected.

Dell, I am really looking forward to Arlingtons season of poly! i'll be seeing you i'm sure at the party in the park.

miraja2, those are nice words, thanks, but i really don't know if i agree with you.:)

randall and S2S, thanks guys.

scav's, I don't have an all weekender planned for trackside. I am going to play turfway tonight from home. I don't know about this Admiral you speak of, but i may need to check into that!!:D

steve, bethani, misterB, hooves, again many thanks to you all for the wishes.

hey cajun, here is a personal factoid, my ex-wife used to call me 'Columbo' because of my detective qualities. :D thanks!

thank you invader and Danzig, not sure just what the sweet tea is all about, but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

finally thank you miss storm cat, your thoughtfulness is truly heartwarming to me. thinking back now, I think i recall that there was an offer made on your part that motivated me to take the Ace - ie pictures. Now if could only remember what it was, hmmmm. I'll keep thinking about it and it will come to me. I have to be sure that you are living up to your end of the deal:p

I'll ditto miraja's sentiments! Except for the Chicago part.

Best wishes on your b'day, ArlJim!

Jim is THE detective on this board. If a new poster shows up, you can guarantee that he knows who the person is or who the person used to post as. LMAO :D

Oh yeah, and he's got a GREAT memory too. Hmmm... new hire for you guys, Dell?
