Santa Anita-Friday 2/23

Root, your favorite trainer has a contender in the 3rd. Big Man O C is ready to unleash an a$$ kickin' severe.

Rootdog1 02-22-2007 10:15 PM

Sad thing is Big Man O C could take down your P.R.......

Actually, think I will take #3 My City By The Bay.....3/1/2 tri

SCUDSBROTHER 02-22-2007 10:55 PM

"The Waive" will run them down. Only 8 horses in the race(and 3 of them can't run at all.)So,only 4 horses to get around, and so he will get there.

Rootdog1 02-23-2007 08:15 AM

It is possible that he could plod along and win if the others are bad but I dont see a winning move out of him.......I'll stick with my 3/1/2

SCUDSBROTHER 02-23-2007 11:59 AM

Can't believe how small that Made in Cali.. horse is.He is like 3/4 size.He gives his best though.6 1/2 seems a bit too far for the little fella, but got to admire how hard he works.

SCUDSBROTHER 02-23-2007 12:31 PM

Knew these women would take them off the turf.

Rootdog1 02-23-2007 01:42 PM

I know, what do you think of the 2nd now that it is off the turf?

$7,469 BET TO WIN (EARLY ON) on Forgivable Bob.Maybe I am totally wrong about him,but I don't think this horse can go 2 turns. He can't even sustain his winning bid around 1 turn. Maybe they can ration him,but from what I have seen,he doesn't rate kindly going 2 turns.I don't get it,but Money isn't bet for no reason.

hoovesupsideyourhead 02-23-2007 04:19 PM

I just got to stick to betting trainers.Doesn't matter what the horse looks like.Sadler got this 7 to wake up.Hess has managed to destroy Maritime. This circuit is totally about the trainer.

YEAH,my singles aren't the problem.I wanted to single the 1st,and go wide in the 4th,but I would have singled the horse who got nipped for the win in the 1st race(curls.)I really gotta stop playing a horse with a bad trainer. Some of these guys(Hess etc.) simply can not get it done.Idiot pays 25k for him,and can't get 2nd for 10k claiming? Give it up.Paid 50k for Tinquilco, and finally got him to win for 12,500 last weekend.
