Will Todd fall with his 32 nominees this year
Scatt Daddy might be his best runner now, but that always finds a way to change. Todd=Derby jinks?? Maybe this year. I think I have said this for 6-7 years now
 |
Scat Daddy definitely isn't his best runner....

minfield ..ect ect

I would say that Any Given Saturday and Circular Quay are more highly regarded as of this year.
|
Circular Quay is closer, the winner of the Hopeful and runner-up in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile

Scat Daddy is MY favorite of Pletcher's horses, but I would say that the two I mentioned are more highly touted right now.

I've no idea yet, but when I was sifting through over 100 pages of Bris pps looking at horses on the Derby Trail, it is amazing when one sees on paper how vast this man's stable is. How he manages to burn 'em up prior to the first Saturday in May, year after year, is mindboggling. He could possibly be changing his strategy though because Our Sacred Honor didn't run a lick yesterday in the Southwest. Maybe he'll have half a dozen make it into the gate this year. Wonder what the odds on that one would be? |

Ravel.
Scat Daddy is very low on the list of current actual probables. |
can't argue about his Negatives. 2 turns, big problem.
But did handle a mile |

It's a mute point. Nobody is going to beat Nobiz, plubCornelio is riding his arse off. Notional is his closest challenge.
