my favorite race all year! Very intruiguing field. Stryker PHD has been dominant since switching to the Ross barn. Couple really good Vancouver shippers as well.

Love love love this race and, with the full field, will be a lot of fun to cap!

Can't wait!

If Prohibition wins I will retire from the sport.

I talked to his owner Glen Todd yesterday he says "I think Prohibition is my best shot, but who knows?" :)

Would love to get 7-1 or higher on Title Contender.

Can't see him drifting that high. A mile should be right in his wheelhouse. Has the speed to track the expected hot pace. Hope they don't move him too early as the Stryker will be coming in the lane. That should be the exacta. Making my annual trek to Emerald to take the race in live.

Nice! I'm driving up this morning. The more I look at the race the more I think Stryker is just better than everyone.

Harsh call but Kitan was right. Just back and witnessed live a Silky Sullivan closing move from last by PH Stryker. Got a fast pace to close into as expected and just smoked them. He really gives the impression of an up and coming horse.

Race shows the value of being the minority at the track paying attention to the horses in the paddock. Word was that Title Contender was a terrible shipper and lived up to rep as he just lost in the paddock and was a total wreck by post parade. Bettors making him the 2nd choice were just flushing their money down the toilet and made the exotic payouts with a 1-1 fav substantial including a whopper super payout.
$1 Exacta (9-6) Paid: $22.90
$1 Trifecta (9-6-4) Paid: $384.40,
50 CENT Superfecta (9-6-4-8) Paid: $1,892.70

I didn't have it, but in hindsight the results were known prior to the race. Title Contender clearly knew who the top two rivals were as on the walking ring he tried to run into and bowl over both Stryker Phd and Boyett. The old hockey stick to the legs before the game tactic.

Enjoyed having Larry Ross on ATR today. Trained Chum Salmon to '85 LGA Mile win at beginning of his career and ow another win 29 years later. Also trained excellent sprinter Ema Bovery..
