DEL Park 7/13/08 - Race 1

#6 Afleet Aussie - 1st time starter for Tim Ritchey made a nice move going 5 wide on the turn at 5 furlongs to finish 2nd at 9-1 to High Mesa (another 1ster). Note 3rd place finisher was 5 lgts behind.

He'll probably be 7-5 next time out, but look for him down the road especially as the distances get longer. Tim bred and owns him along with Cash is King majority owner Chuck Zackney.

Makes his 2nd start on Sunday 7/27/08 at DEL Park R3. AA is sandwiched between two 1sters from the Larry Jones's barn that sport a nice pedigree.

Won the opener at Delaware today at odds of 7-5 on a sloppy track.

Thanks Mike, Yeah, I was a bit disappointed by his last start. His next start facing winners will be a key factor to determine what he might turn out to be.
