30 years ago tonight at RFK was one of my favorite Grateful Dead shows beautiful day in DC sitting low right center in the section where all the balloons ended up due to the wind currents. the first set was spectacular coming right out of the chute with Cold Rain and snow, wang dang doodle, Jack a roe. The Black Throated wind was stunning. Thought the encore would be US Blues due to flag day, it’s all over now was a so much better choice to end this epic show.
