Didn't she already have to pay that to pre-enter?

I believe you only pay to enter, not pre-enter. they have til the 26th.

Cup has corrected the entry mistake that put HOLY LUTE in the Sprint instead of the Turf Sprint.. Placed as the 6th alternate.

Ageless will skip Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint
By Mary Rampellini

AGELESS will not run in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint, trainer Arnaud Delacour said Friday. The mare was pre-entered in the Oct. 31 race at Keeneland and is listed as part of the body of the field. Delacour said AGELESS is continuing to heal from a gash sustained during the running of the $100,000 Franklin County at Keeneland, but has simply run out time to make the Breeders' Cup.

"We're not going to be able to train her for probably another week," Delacour said. "The timing is not working out, but we live to fight another day."

Appealing Tale out of BC Dirt Mile
Jay Privman

Appealing Tale came out of his final work for the Breeders Cup Dirt Mile with an ankle injury that will keep him out of the Breeders' Cup, trainer Peter Miller said Sunday morning from his barn at San Luis Rey Downs.

"It's the same ankle he had surgery on when he was 3," Miller said. "He'll be fine down the line but it's bad timing and it really hurts because, all due respect to Liam's Map, I thought we were the horse to beat."

Appealing Tale won the Kelso at Belmont Park in his last start, defeating Honor Code.

His defection from the Dirt Mile impacts the pace, as he races on or near the lead.

Entries for all 13 BC races are due Monday morning and posts will be drawn for all 13 later in the day. The Dirt Mile is run on Friday

Who would have guessed the sires Bernardini and Harlington would account for over a 1/3rd of the Filly and Mare Sprint?

Hi All

Does anybody have any updates as to how AA has been training coming into the BCF&MS? I think the race sets up great for AA but the layoff scares me.....

Thanks

She did have an awkward training session last week when her saddle slipped according to Mike Vesce, but before that had worked very well. Hushion very strong bringing horses back off breaks. And he and the Bromans wouldn't come if she wasn't prepared to run.
