How Long Will You Wait To Vote?

I get off work tomorrow at 2:30pm. I have in the trunk of my car a book and a lawn chair. If I gotta wait till 7 or 8pm I am waitin. Funny thing is I know some people who say they will not vote if they gotta wait over 2 hours.

i've never had to wait. i hope to go at mid-day whilst everyone is still at work.
but i'll wait as long as it takes. not that it matters, the old fart and girl wonder will most likely win arkansas.

Wait? No waiting in the Empire State, but the "new" voting machines start next year.....the lines will be long with people trying to figure them out. It's gonna scare folks into absentee ballots for sure.

My place that I vote they are predicting anywhere from 2 to 4 hours wait.

I'm in southern Vermont, there will be no wait. My brother lives in Burlington, our only city, my brother has also said there is no real wait

Wow, if I have to wait 15 mins that would be long. Can I ask what state you reside?

I got a phone call last night saying I could vote on Wed...much easier that way..

AeWingnut 11-03-2008 07:54 PM

I don't anticipate a wait but I hope that
~ if there is one
it will discourage the weak.

Sorry Bob..that was me..I meant to say Thursday. Is it true all your horses were signed up by ACORN to vote?

SCUDSBROTHER 11-03-2008 09:39 PM

Very little wait in SOCAL tomorrow(I think..LOL.) Which states are slow like that? Red States milking slight margins?

2MinsToPost 11-04-2008 04:53 PM

Are you serious? Was it a recording or a live person?

ddthetide 11-04-2008 06:55 PM

we got there about 6:15. 5-6 people no waiting. it took longer to drive to the polling place, then it did to vote.
