Here is your Alcibiades winner, Naval Command. Was #10 in this race. My friend & I thought this performance was most visually impressive grass race that afternoon. Watch her gallop out on turf, then 'hustle' back to winner's circle area.

Was a pretty nice few days for Ron Paolucci. He gets the heartening effort by the filly and hit that mammoth P5/P4 at BEL Thursday for $150k+..
Is Ron over the top? Yes.. But he has 75-100 horses in training at any time and spreads them around at tracks all over the country. He gives small outfits horses and he bets with both hands. He hasn't made every move right certainly and he obviously rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but he's easily a big net plus for the sport. |
