The Grade 1.5 Beaugay is outstanding

Alabama Stakes 05-10-2017 06:23 PM

Would be nice if there were more than 27 hosses in 4 graded stakes though.

RHT2004 05-10-2017 06:30 PM

Timeline, Time and Motion, Patterson Cross and Indulgent.

Not negative , just commenting that it would be nice if there were more hosses in graded stakes. Short fields might be good for someone who bets $300 doubles and exactas, like you, but some of us need bigger fields to get more value in this age of 50 cent triples

Shame the weather is going to suck so much rain in forecast. Will see how the card actually turns out.
Looking forward to By the Moon 1/2 for JMS.

How do you feel about nyra and their 24% takeout on triples , supers, pick 3 & pick 4.

It's excessive to me, or am I being negative ? Short fields and high takeouts

Best racing in the country, by far on a day to day basis. Deal with it.

Alabama Stakes 05-12-2017 11:17 PM

Great defense of the exorbitant 24% take out. I must be the only one who is unhappy with it

Unfortunately, it's in line with the current state of racing:

Zhukova now clicking at 70%,including 3 for 3 against the dudes.
She gets her Gr. 1............made it look easy.
And man does she love the heavy going, she just gets over it as good as any you'll ever see.
If she returns to the states and catches the heavy stuff again, they might as well not show up.

Meantime looked like his jockey went to concession stand for hot dog on that last turn geeze
