I guess it's easy money

It actually is prestigious, lots of horses have went on to win very big races from this weekend.

Fully understanding that he's in the race because it is run at his owner's home track, it's a little comical that they passed on a 400k race at Belmont that he was mentioned for, and a 350k race next week at Calder that he was mentioned for too.

Chance Delaunay lands in the Vanderbilt with a win in Iowa? Should be 100% and it is not.

The Vanderbilt is 6f, and Fast Bullet is being pointed to that race. He was left in NY after his huge win on Belmont day. Fast Bullet will run Delaunay into the ground in the Vanderbilt just like he would have on Belmont day. Delaunay would be better suited if they pointed for the Forgo. I think you can make a strong argument that Delaunay’s last race was his best, EVER. He is 4-4 at 7f going back to January of 2012.

Fast Bullet is talented but he had everything his own way in that last race, well see whats entered but I am inclined to play against him given the PT fast figure.

Racing in 2013, almost everybody ducks competition when possible. It sucks.

I was just mostly saying these are historically pretty darn good races.

I pretty much agree with you, Im going to guess that Fast Bullet has a lot left to show us still. You gotta admit though, its hard not to get at least a little bit excited over him? I guess my issue is more with Delaunay. I would love to see him do something in NY. His win on Derby day was his first ever graded stakes race and the track was sloppy. I think its clear he likes, if not loves the slop. I feel like Delaunay will be a speed and stop type if he ever comes to NY.

Like I said my issue is with Delaunay. What was his excuse tonight? I was kinda with you about Fast Bullet being dressed up, but come on. He would crush this Delaunay fraud.

The kid Mello looked really good on the winner. Nice to pick up a mount and ride your ass off for the win. I don't think he wins with Robby. Good job Dave
