Will a redboarder come forward to claim the $259 winner?

That's just awesome. Almost $40k in the win pool and the winner had just $251 bet on him. I hope it was all barn money. Paid $122 in the middle too.

I would love to claim $122 Place payoff! Amazing mutuel prices for exotics too.

Was he a maiden prior to this race?

He broke his maiden in his eighth career start two back on the grass at Remington. He finished sixth in the El Joven at Retama prior to the Springboard.

Probably a few dollars from the folks who like their bling.

Trainer Danele Durham on ATR later (10:30a). Winner was tons the best with McNeil having to make a midstretch decision to kick out or stay where he was. When Texas Bling got daylight he surged. 80 Beyer.

I just watched the replay. I thought the jockey gave him a great ride. When he got that opening the horse just took off. It'll be interesting to see how Texas Bling develops when the competition gets tougher.
