Come on down to southwest Louisiana & have fun this Saturday! I haven't been to Breeders' Cup or Kentucky Derby yet. However, this is my 6th Jackpot in last 7 years.

Move from Friday night to Saturday afternoon was sheer marketing genius two years ago. Increased handle, increase attendance, lots of families with children.

Looks like nice card. See you there!

It may be marketing genius, but I have yet to play the card on Saturday. I played several consecutive years when it was on a Friday night.

Personal preference. I have other tracks I prefer to play on Saturday during the day, factor in college football and my kid's volleyball and the Jackpot gets lost for me. When the Jackpot card was on Friday night, it fit perfectly with Friday night at The 'Wood.

Yes, move did shift bettor demographic from night players to day/weekend ones. This year DeD gets another benefit as CD is running twilight card. May push handle to another new record.

My biggest gain is that I get home before 1am!

Agree with that. Widest of all on the turn and still made up a lot of ground on the winner.

Sure did. But help me out here....when was the last time anyone that finished in the top 3 in the Jackpot came back as a 3 year old and made any noise on the Derby trail?

Since I've taken a beating today, I may just look into this tonight to help pass the time....:D
