I thought she ran real good. Got a bit tired at the end, but looked like she might steal it for a long way. Obviously the green grass is what she likes. Totally different horse on grass. Good luck this year with her.

Dew, Joe.. Thanks. Was really fun to be on undercard and agree the mare ran super. Very pleased to get back on the grass. Wish she had gotten a start in ahead of this because she was just short. Thanks to Wood for the terrific job he's done bringing her back from the injury and X-man for the perfect job riding. Will come back at Laurel in a few weeks, probably for conditioned $20k.

Watched the race from the rail. My brother and I thought we were cashing a good one! Steve, is it difficult to decide whether to cut-back? We both thought 7F-1M on grass might be better but i'm sure every novice says the same thing when horses come up a little short.

Thought so too when X looked back. She's a very cool horse.. Has won at 6f on AQU inner and 8.5f-T at Belmont. Think she was simply short for that trip Saturday. She ran her typical front end race where she spurts away off the turn and Perez said he thought she'd get home. The 7f-T can be sharp. 8-8.5 seems her ideal. Back at Laurel in a few weeks.

Thanks Steve. Will be watching (and wagering)
