I thought she looked better today than last time out. Today was a step in the right direction.

Wheel her back in 10 days at Suffolk Downs next weekend. East Boston loves Byk.

Agree. Another beneficial effort. She strictly wants it shorter, but there's few options downstate.

They have a filly and mare maiden $16,000 claimer with a $30,000 purse written for Sunday the 8th. It’s going a mile and 70 on the turf, but the class drop might do the trick.

Is there any place on the turf locally she could run and be competitive?

Absolutely. There's F&M-3+, MCLM/$40k's & $25k's going 5.5-T regularly at Saratoga. 50-60 Beyers will win them.

Too bad she didn't draw into the 1st division today (BEL 1st ~ 7/14) looks a little easier than the 2nd race same conditions race.

Alabama Stakes 08-22-2018 03:02 PM

They wrote a filly Maiden claiming $13000 race with a $27,000 purse going 7 1/2 on the lawn at Suffolk on 9/15.

Tony is stuck in North Carolina with the storm and I have to be in Rochester Sunday night for a Monday meeting. You'll have to stand in.
