I saw that race and bet Placido at what I thought were unreal odds....like 13-1...he checked AT LEAST 3 times that I remember.

That was the Call Me Pete race where he beat Gin Rummy Champ? I remember those two about 3-4 lengths in front.

I bet Dirtymoposse at 25-1. He had a bit of trouble but along with Sami and Placido, his biggest problem is he was not going to win that race. I do remember the grass course was a bit soggy. I lost two big bets that day, both with not great trips. Soco Creek in the 9th and Ashlee the Great in the 10th. Both ran second. Soco at 7-1, Ashlee at 4-1.

Scratched today.....he was 7/5 anyways so I am happy about this, hopefully they put him/her in a tougher spot so I can unload
