Thanks everyone! I spent Sunday afternoon at the Prescriptives counter at Macy's getting a make-over and a big bottle of Super Line Preventor...I'm fighting every second of the dreaded on-coming 30.

Ha, she is convinced she is a dog.

She comes running to the door when we get home, flattens out on her back for her belly to be rubbed and chases me up and down the stairs when she feels like playing. Sniper is working on getting her to fetch. She'll catch and trap her toys if you toss them at her, but hasn't figured out the bringing them back to you part yet.

My favorite quote on aging was my first boss post-college, who said, "You know, your 20s are terrible. Your 30s are great. And they're so great they carry you right through your 40s and then one day you wake up and you're 50 and you say 'What the f*ck happened?'"

Have a great next 20 years! :) And I agree with my old boss- 20s suck; 30s are much better. So don't dread it; look forward to it!

ha,ha! That's funny. Another way to look at it is the way they did on Sex and the City...by age group boxes...that way you can stay in the same "box" for several years. :D

It sucks! lol It starts at 30 and increases every year.. at this point (45) I am about 20 pounds heavier and I do work out and watch (to a reasonable degree) what I eat and drink (had to cut back on the martini's!) .... so good luck and Happy Birthday!:p

Isn't it funny when you were younger you wanted to look older and vice-versa? :D

so far, i've never looked my age...when i was younger, people thought i was a little older. but once i got in my late 20's, i started getting carded.. of course THAT didn't last long! but i don't think i look 39 yet. YET. i tell you one thing that helped me--no sun. i don't tan worth a crap anyway, don't do tanning booths. a lot of women down here do, and they have rotten, dry, wrinkly skin.
but i also have good genes from the women in my family....
