Australian Racing Pick 4 Carryover of $14,000 Plus

Hey guys, our Pick 4 has carried over again and tonight the carryover is $14,349.79.

This pool should get well over 20K tonight, and if someone hits it they are liable to take the entire pot.

If anyone wants to get in on it, bring it on. It is one of the toughest Pick 4's to hit, but usually with fields like tonight's it pays out to one ticket.

Gauchos0522 06-16-2006 07:25 PM

I might take a look see whats up.

Scurlogue Champ 06-16-2006 07:37 PM

Fire at that thing Gaucho.

It has been just barely missed the last nine days. Someone has to hit it soon.

Longshotrick 06-16-2006 07:46 PM

I might have a LIVE longshot to separate you from the pack in Race 1A-- Take a flyer on #4 Talons Shown , should be a huge price here and may wake up off a current trial win that is not posted in the PP's.

Good Luck , Field sizes for the Pick 4 are 14 X 18 X 20 X 23, It will be tough to hit. I know it doesn't look like much money in the pools but everytime this thing hits it's one live ticket takes all. I've seen a couple where no horse paid over $7.00 and it went to one ticket.

Thinkin of playing this ticket:

1: 3,10,11,12
2: 9,10,14,15
3: 3 (might spread here and cut down other legs use 8,9,12)
4: 1,9

Not easy at all and probably will use more horses. GL mood and others if you play something :)

Longshotrick 06-16-2006 08:32 PM

I like the look of your ticket. I really hope you take it down. Mood and I fired a $100 ticket last night and were out after the second race and it was much smaller fields.

I hope you take a close look at #1 in Race 3a Cole Trickle has scratched out of two nights meeting to settle on this spot. And the horse he lost to last out by less than a length is a monster, and this is not a strong field just a bunch of Class 1's and maiden breakers in here.

Good Luck

Thanks Rick. Your the guy who follows aussie racing so anything you contribute here believe me I listen! I might just play that tick and hope for the best. You never know...

Togacapper 06-16-2006 08:56 PM

Rick who did the show?

Togacapper 06-16-2006 08:56 PM

I'll take Abby

Togacapper 06-16-2006 09:01 PM

Yoiu like this 4 huh Rick

Scurlogue Champ 06-16-2006 09:01 PM

That was me, Toga. I hate doing that thing.

Longshotrick 06-16-2006 09:01 PM

Taht was the Moodwalker... AKA Ashley!!!

Togacapper 06-16-2006 09:02 PM

Ahh come on ya did a good job Mood

Longshotrick 06-16-2006 09:02 PM

Tough race but this horse likes to win, can't explain his last effort , I am willing to forget it and take a flyer on him in this big field.

If he runs his race he is probably best here.

Rick

Togacapper 06-16-2006 09:03 PM

14 Gs carry over pic 4 unheard of

Togacapper 06-16-2006 09:04 PM

I'll use him with the 1 and 3.

Scurlogue Champ 06-16-2006 09:07 PM

Here is the ticket I threw out on the show: I think this one is nearly unhittable though.

1,9,10
7,9,15
4,8,14
1,20F

Togacapper 06-16-2006 09:07 PM

Hey guys I was talking to some people about Aus racing. Most of who I talked to would play Aus if they had a form that they could understand. I feel there would be a lot more players if thay had some thing they could understand like the DRF. Me I have learned a little and it did take time to understand the Aus PPF's.

Longshotrick 06-16-2006 09:08 PM

14 K is the most we have ever had in the pools. ( days of carryover lets you know how few people really play it. GREAT value though when you hit it.

I hit one for 1,400 that had a 6$, 7$, 9$ and $16 horse. Grat overlay.

Longshotrick 06-16-2006 09:09 PM

we've been scraming for an upgrade in info for 6 years from Australia. They just don't provide the same info we do here. No internal calls at tracks that aren't in the city. No speed figures etc.

I just had a meeting today with the boss and we got the go ahead to create new pp's for Australia.

Just give me or Rick any suggestions and I will get it done. Hopefully we can get a more user-friendly form.

The big problem is that they don't keep track of running positions during the race a lot of the time.

Getting information from over there is like pulling teeth.

Togacapper 06-16-2006 09:09 PM

the fields are so damn big. For me that makes it a difficult task to pic 4. Scares me away . Although I usuall don't play them types of bets

Longshotrick 06-16-2006 09:10 PM

I'ts piss poor and we know it, just can't get them to understand our North American players expect much better information to make a qualified bet here.

Rick

Scurlogue Champ 06-16-2006 09:10 PM

Rick and Bob have been stressing that this is the biggest problem with our racing for years I think.

Hopefully we can get it done

Rick it seems people want the quotes , like in the form to be a little more understandable. More like 5 wide, bumped, checked. rail coulnt get out

Think it would be a major step forward for sure.

Togacapper 06-16-2006 09:18 PM

See we got a couple of nice races tonight.

Togacapper 06-16-2006 09:23 PM

Start the night out good here...As he said that's a 10 nice ride....I'll have a Roughie for him

Longshotrick 06-16-2006 09:24 PM

Sorry guys he gave me a thrill when he popped to the lead , I thought things were right with him again. That makes three bad runs in a row. I wont be backing him anytime soon.

Good Job Gaucho. Lookslike you are still alive with a bit of a price horse.

And the time you don't he wins that always scares me when I follow a horse.

Yep hope I keep going...

Togacapper 06-16-2006 09:45 PM

Not bragging but I'm 2 for 2

Longshotrick 06-16-2006 09:59 PM

Toga... Are you alive in the Pick 4??

Longshotrick 06-16-2006 10:02 PM

Looks like Gaucho is alive as well! Awesome, let me tell you there are not that many tickets still alive , believe me.

This would be great if either of you knocked it down!

Scurlogue Champ 06-16-2006 10:03 PM

I hope you guys hit it. We are pulling for you.

Togacapper 06-16-2006 10:04 PM

No I didn't play it . Maybe I should of. Used the 14 in my exacta and had the 3 in the 1st. Good Luck Goucho pulling for ya

Gauchos0522 06-16-2006 10:09 PM

Dare I say ALIVE!!!! Now the HARD part.

Scurlogue Champ 06-16-2006 10:10 PM

Who do you have here Gaucho?

Just the 3 or did you spread?

Gauchos0522 06-16-2006 10:11 PM

Took the 3 only. Really did not feel at all confident so I only made a small wager. Hopefully it doesn't bite me.

Scurlogue Champ 06-16-2006 10:18 PM

I'm headed out guys. Rick is taking over. I'm pulling for you Gaucho.
