Here is a thread so we can discuss the entire Hollywood card this afternoon. We have about 40 minutes to race 1.

Can't discuss much becuz I only have pps for two of them and those are the 6 and the 9.

Here are my picks:

That horse was an all or nothing.I was gunna play it,but figured Espinoza could have ridden him if he wanted to.Surprised Hines messed up the Missile that much.I knew it might get tagged,but wow.Anchor out.

I was torn between the 5 and 10. It didnt matter much in the end. But at like 6-1 I figured it was worth a shot.

Race 2 - I cannot get passed the 5 Bronzino. 3rd off of a layoff, Nakatani and Shirreffs and shortens up a bit. So my play is $50 across on the 5.

scuds , im listening to tvg bray and rudalph ...talking about the horrible conditions..how its so bad..have they not seen turfway or aq..in the winter ...-10 wind blowing at 30 mph..lol

I was thinking the same. I am watching and I am thinking...well, it doesnt look at that bad there at all.

It isn't that bad,but we didn't count on having it until this evening.

Well Nak did me well there. 7/2 not too bad of a price there. The 5-6 were clearly the best two horses in the race.

1:14:04 - DANG, now that is fast.

That's why I didn't want that water on the track.Track is hard enough to cap without that factor added into it.I think in the long run this cushion will be good to bet,but it's still very tough to cap right now.

I agree 100%. I have been studying and taking notes at Hollywood and I am putting my thoughts to test today. So, far I guess I am about avg.

Race 4 - Hard to go against the 5 Beyondcomprehension. However, I think I will try to make a little money on this race by playing an exacta. I like the 9 Seth Low High, 11 Sota de Oros and 2 Maj. Trouble. So my play is $60 exacta key

Not too bad at all. Who says you cant make money on a 4/5 shot. Nice little $28.60 exacta.

FLORES WON A RACE..... that must have felt like a ton of bricks coming off his back.Long time no see that w circle.Even though an 80 year old could have piloted that one,I bet it helps the guy loosen up.

I love that play. I really like the 9 Word Games. Hendircks is a 15% winner with firsters. I love his last work on 12/13. But what I really like is his gate work on 12/7.

on a side thunder and belle is a nice horse running at turfway pp 11 now

I like that 4 in the 9th race too, but is that last work a concern or is it usual to go a little longer (11 days) after a longer work like a mile?

Yeah, I figured he would get all the late money. Any thoughts on Turfway 11 - Prairie Bayou? I sort of like the Mesawmi.

Yeah, I thought she was going to get 2nd but the jock had to adjust a little to the 2 and it might have cost her 2nd.

Unprepared to win.They didn't care about winning this.Next time they tighten her up and win.That's why I despise those 2 year old maiden races(you want the horse to win more than the damn connections do.They just want to get a race in them.)G D dress rehearsal.

Uugghhh.....Did not see that one coming. But he looked pretty good that is for sure.

These horses are getting away up front right now.Is that the track or the horses.I say track.

Filly really had to tank in the stretch to lose the race before that too.
