Your BC Bomb

The pp's have been out for a day or so, let's hear it...

I'll go with Free Thinking, he ran his best # at CD, 3rd off layoff and with the mile being a tough race, why not? I certainly don't think he'll embarass himself...

The trainer's a local guy, I don't know him, but my father in law has had some cheap claimers with his father that ran at River Downs...I believe he's in his late 30's, there was an article in the local paper about him this summer, I read it thinking it was about horses, but evidently he took up golf a year ago and is such a natural, he won the city championships, not PGA stuff, but not bad either...

slotdirt 10-26-2006 04:36 PM

I'll go with Librettist, though is he really a bomb? What is considered a bomb anyway? If he's not long enough, how about Stormello in the Juvenile?

Pointg5 10-26-2006 04:37 PM

at least 20-1

slotdirt 10-26-2006 04:38 PM

Kelly's Landing or Rush Bay then. Horses for courses.

I have a "just in case" bet on Slew's third grandson in the Classic, Suave. He will be longggg.:D

brianwspencer 10-26-2006 04:55 PM

mauralakana is going to get overlooked. she ran within a half length of vacare, and will be triple the price that one would have been in here had she gone.

other than that -- street sense.

Cajungator26 10-26-2006 05:05 PM

Stormello.

randallscott35 10-26-2006 05:31 PM

Mine will be arriving for the big day later next week.

Kasept 10-26-2006 06:25 PM

T/S,

I talked about Story on the show tonight.. She's been one of my favorites from her first appearence in the BC as a maiden. Haskin told us tonight that Shirreffs shipped her in early. Also thought it was interesting that he has been working her out at SA instead of HOL. He's been working Giacomo at HOL... I'd love for her to run well next Saturday...

Greenwhich is not far from my stomping grounds.

There are some other closers in the race that are more formidable on paper, but Hollywood Story has been pace compromised and might finally get a scenario where she runs her best. Her best puts her there and is a logical horse to be on the board.

I like him ALOT in that race, but I am worried that race two back took alot out of him and he is going to X, but after talking to Bykster, he said that the 0-2=x theory isn't as prevelant in turf horses.....I just realized it was more of a 3pt jump so I get to TOSS the theory out the window...all in on MA

Seattleallstar 10-26-2006 09:17 PM

Don't worry about me, I am locked and loaded. I am not gambling until Friday night pre BC, I always play Los Al while I am handicapping it, moderate success. I am a stayer big guy....

I'm with Hoss that I really like Attila's Storm in the Sprint. Also like Lawyer Ron in the Classic and if Trevor Denman announces that 'lightning has indeed struck twice under the Twin Spirals...GIA-CO-MO has won the 2006 Breeders Cup Classic', I'll **** my pants.

I knew I liked you. Other than drifty, another big payout may be Malibu Mint. My heart wants her to win so badly so maybe she will win for that reason alone.

Just wait until the chat on Friday night, I am in rare form during chats, and I pick nothing but winners, that I don't play
