The ineptitude is disgusting. I'm seriously considering switching back and following/playing international racing full time because at least there jockeys are able to judge a pace and don't swing out twenty wide on every turn.

The final quarter came home in 22.91. Possessed was wrecked by the wide turn along with Payment Terms. Despite all of this, Mark My Style did not run a step and Memories of Peter was empty when it counted. Nothing like a five length lead in the lane at 10-1 at Saratoga.

Kitan 08-10-2015 04:19 PM

I once saw a harness horse disqualified for backing in down so much (32 or 33 seconds) in the second quarter it caused everyone behind him to pile up and cause "mass confusion". Wonder if they should implement that in NY.

ADJMK 08-10-2015 04:27 PM

Timeform has to re-program their pace projector to no pace in any turf race. Why spend the hours handicapping. May as well spend the time outdoors enjoying the summer.

That's what I get for wasting $$ in a race where a 6yo FTS almost wired them.

Nice Benny.
