NY Badge Monkey goes MMA on an unlicensed Cancer Stick salesman.

Quote:

The city medical examiner has ruled the death of Eric Garner, the 43-year-old father whose death in police custody sparked national outrage, a homicide, saying a chokehold killed him.

The medical examiner said compression of the neck and chest, along with Garner's positioning on the ground while being restrained by police during the July 17 stop on Staten Island, caused his death.
This has nothing to do with Garner being a piece of crap, cigarette selling scumbag or even resisting arrest, since he was already in restraints when he was killed.

The suspect was in restraints, fact. He was complaining that he can't breathe, fact. Is there any reason why the officers couldn't simply roll the fat fucl< over or let him sit up? Was he going to hop up and scamper away in a cloud of loose cigarettes?

Again, he didn't just happen to croak. According to the autopsy, he showed unmistakable evidence of neck and chest compression. He WAS cuffed. But hey, they couldn't have rolled him over or sat his fat ass up?

However, that's not even the good part. Most amusingly, they didn't even get an indictment against the badge monkey. You can indict a ham sandwich, but not a pig.

And the cause for this confrontation, selling cigarettes?

Perhaps some might say a victimless crime, assuming that said cigarettes will be smoked in private.

In truth, smoking a cigarette in public is a FAR more offensive and disgusting act. In 2014, you still have people lighting up their cancer sticks in public, and polluting the air and ruining the smell for all of those around them. Talk about people who are selfish, inconsiderate scum.

I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, something in the smoke triggers Migraine headaches for me. I guess it's still fashionable in society to not look down on smokers...only a matter of time till that changes.

I am certainly anti-smoking.

And if I sound "anti-cop" -- whatever that's supposed to mean...that means at least I'm not one of these insufferable Copsuckers that are coming out of the woodwork.

How militarized are our badge monkeys compared to their German counterparts? This from NBC...

Quote:

German police officers fired a total of 85 bullets in 2011, 49 of which were warning shots, the German publication Der Spiegel reported. Officers fired 36 times at people, killing six and injuring 15. This is a slight decline from 2010, when seven people were killed and 17 injured. Ninety-six shots were fired in 2010.

Meanwhile, in the United States, The Atlantic reported that in April, 84 shots were fired at one murder suspect in Harlem, and another 90 at an unarmed man in Los Angeles.
The reality is that, once they say they 'I was scarred' -- badge monkeys have no real consequences and accountability. If they can sell the idea that they're scarred, They can kill anybody or shoot anything they want...dogs, cats, bystanders, you, me, anything at all.

But that's not my biggest problem with law enforcement. I've had a clean record and virtually zero encounters with cops...save one infuriating speeding ticket I received last year.

My biggest problem with cops is that law enforcement is no longer about "protect and serve" but it is used as a revenue generator.

Speed traps during rush hour traffic is a prime example of this.

Is this "real" police work? Of course not, BUT, it creates revenue for whatever town/city/state/municipality. Quotas, Quotas, Fines, Fines, Tickets, Tickets.

It's all complete BS.

So you end up with some gung-ho, roided up sergeant wannabe, who is playing tough guy with some tax paying person who they "busted" for going 9-miles-per-hour over the speed limit on their way home.

But hey, there IS money to be made by writing a $212 ticket to some unlucky bastard who's in a hurry to get home so he can take out the trash before his girlfriend gets home from work.

Cops don't deserve any respect. That respect has to be earned, and earned as a unit, not on an individual basis. Sure, it's a tough job...but if you can't handle it, go sell shoes at the mall!

Back to the Garner case, I'd REALLY like to get outraged by this horrific story but I just find myself unable.

Cigarettes are disgusting. People who smoke in public are vile. This guy was offering a service (a so-called victimless crime) that would potentially enable detestable people from committing the heinous act of smoking in public (a should-be serious crime)

Sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. I support the NYPD pigs in their heroic crusade to rid the streets of scum who push cigarettes...be they taxed or untaxed.

Oh ****, I forgot to take out the trash . . .

Nice work.

Danzig 12-10-2014 07:54 AM

it is common knowledge that the cops here in the little town nearby don't wish to arrest the petty criminals.
they'd rather find people like me and others who have money-we can pay the fines, fees, court costs, etc. the stories about the towns and cities police confiscating cash is another point about money. they even had on video one policeman approaching a car, and instead of his first question being for license, registration, etc, it was 'how much cash do you have'.
there is a growing gap between the people and the police mentality wise. you have crime rates going down, while the amount of police is getting ever higher, and cops ever more handling every situation as a potential life threatening one-to them.
my father was a policeman in washington d.c. 20 years. during the riots in the 60's, the vietnam protests, and all the other many and sundry things that occurred in d.c. until the mid 80's. he fired his service revolver twice in 20 years. almost never even took the thing out of the holster.

and nice work doug.

Copsuckers rejoice!

Listen, you young whippersnapper, you think it's "fashionable" to not look down on smokers now? You should have been around in the decades before you were born. I'm also allergic to cigarette smoke, and my dad has been a heavy smoker my whole life. I spent my childhood with a constantly itchy throat, that my mother spent much time and effort trying to deduce the cause of (she was an RN in her working days). She took away dairy (which I loved), put me on daily Sudafed (makes you drowsy!), and did everything other than look at the man puffing a pack in the house every day, because it never would have occurred to her that smoke might be the problem- hell, she was a social smoker when she would have a drink (Riunite on ice because my mom was classy like that). I didn't know myself until I went to college and my allergies cleared up because I wasn't living in a smoking household anymore.

Nowadays my dad only smokes in the garage, because my stepmom, god bless her, won't stand for a home that smells like an ashtray.

Smokers actually get a hell of a lot of abuse nowadays (some of which is warranted- hello, is it that f*cking hard to stub out your g*dd*mn burning stub before you throw it away from you with no regard to where you are throwing it? I had a coat set on fire by a smoker doing that), compared to the 1970s and before.

Danzig 12-13-2014 02:16 PM

reformed smoker here.
I detest them now, hate to see them, smell them, and for crying out loud people, quit taking one last drag right before you come in my office door, leaving the stubbed out butt on my sidewalk, and bringing the stench in with you!!
ugh!

around here, we have forest fires set due to idiots flinging their smoking butts out of the car. it lands in the ditch, and sets the grass on fire. hello, nimrod, do you know what 'burn ban' means?

bigrun 12-13-2014 02:59 PM

Aaah, the good ole daze...Like the price on the coke...

And it's not necessary. Most of my family smoked (my dad is the only one who still does, but in the 1970s and 1980s, almost all of them did) and the empty soda can with a bit of water in the bottom was a fixture in all of their cars. So I know it is possible to be a smoker and not be a total douchecanoe about it

Too many nuts running around everywhere:zz:

Just hope the throngs of protesters who responded to the mantra 'What do we want?' with 'DEAD COPS!' take a moment to reflect on this Sunday before Christmas.

It took a lone nut to slaughter these two officers but it took a village to spur him on.

True enough and I'm afraid this is just the beginning. More cops are going to be be killed before this dies (no pun intended) down.

Amen, and thankfully the NY cop killer took his own life since NY doesn't have a death penalty.

I don't recall cities being bombarded with whites blocking commerce over that guy.

But look you hate white gun owners and love to appease minorities. Probably because you're a minority or a descendant of some old bloodline that's in the business of keeping the masses divided.

Either way it's tiresome. Go down harder on Alinsky's loins.

dellinger63 12-22-2014 09:47 AM

Wow, meet the undergraduate department representative for the African and Afro-American studies department at Brandeis University and read what she has to say regarding the execution of the two NY police officers as well as opining on a hodgepodge of subjects.

Just hope whoever ends up with her employment application in front of them completes a background investigation or at the very least a google search "Khadijah Lynch".

An Officer’s Life

*You wonder why he pulled you over and gave you a ticket for speeding,
He just worked an accident where people died because they were going too fast.
...
*You wonder why that cop was so mean,
He just got done working a case where a drunk driver killed a kid.

*You work for 8 hours,
He works for up to 18 hours.

*You drink hot coffee to stay awake,
The cold rain in the middle of the night keeps him awake.

*You complain of a "headache," and call in sick,
He goes into work still hurt and sore from the guy he had to fight the night before.

*You drink your coffee on your way to the mall,
He spills his as he runs Code 3 to a traffic crash with kids trapped inside.

*You make sure you're cell phone is in your pocket before you leave the house,
He makes sure his gun is clean and fully loaded and his vest is tight.

*You talk trash about your "buddies" that aren't with you,
He watches his buddy get shot at, and wounded in front of him.

*You walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls,
He walks down the highway looking for body parts from a traffic crash.

*You complain about how hot it is,
He wears fifty pounds of gear and a bullet proof vest in July and still runs around chasing crack heads.

*You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got your order wrong,
He runs out before he gets his food to respond to an armed robbery.

*You get out of bed in the morning and take your time getting ready,
He gets called out of bed at 2 am after working 12 hours and has to be into work A.S.A.P. for a homicide.

*You go to the mall and get your hair redone,
He holds the hair of some college girl while shes puking in the back of his patrol car.

*You're angry because your class ran 5 minutes over,
His shift ended 4 hours ago and there's no end in sight.

*You call your girlfriend and set a date for tonight,
He can't make any plans because on his off days he still gets called back into work.

*You yell and scream at the squad car that just past you because they slowed you down,
He's in the driver seat of the squad car, going to cut somebody out of their car.

*You roll your eyes when a baby cries in public,
He picks up a dead child in his arms and prays that it was crying.

*You criticize your police department and say they're never there quick enough,
He blasts the siren while the person in front of him refuses to move while talking on their cell phone.

*You hear the jokes about fallen officers and say they should have known better,
He is a hero and runs into situations when everyone else is running away in order to make sure no one else gets hurt and loses his life doing it.

*You are asked to go to the store by your parents, you don't,
He would take a bullet for his buddy without question.

*You sit there and judge him, saying that it's a waste of money to have them around,

Yet as soon as you need help he is there.
