Steve - Thought he was going to run this Saturday in that 7f race with Albarado?

Race (NY-MSW at 7f-T) was in the book but didn't go and didn't get brought back for Sunday. Have to wait for it to come back or for one of the 8-8.5f-T options. Too bad. The 7f seems like an ideal scenario for him and he should be real fit. This makes it so hard because you have to now balance a workout in here while waiting and you don't know how much to do with him not knowing when the race happens or how long, etc.. This is one of the problems dogging the sport.

Gary just touched base, waiting by the training track ahead of drills by Corybant and My Pal of Pals.

Hadn't updated Corybant's status while away, but he lost a few weeks of training to a stone bruise/abscess that expelled through his coronet band. Back up and going now. Should start a steady diet of turf sprints for the summer..

Just landed in Baltimore BOOM! Watched the race on replay! Congrats to all my fellow owners and to our trainer and Steve B! Glad I got to play it at airport before flight left. The power of a bullet workout !

THIS IS WHY WE'RE IN THE GAME! My only regret was that I wasn't there to get my picture taken. But that's no biggie... A maiden no longer!!!! Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!

That was a lot of fun... Congratulations to all the partners and everyone involved in Pal's maiden-breaker today. There are the obvious -- Gary Sciacca, Paul Barone, the Barn 60 team, Junior Alvarado, Exercise rider Pierre Tomas -- and there are the less obvious: Woodbury Payne at Ingleside Training Center, his wife Olga and the vet team at Valley Equine in West Virginia who performed deft knee surgery on Pal.

Glad that so many did so well with him today. It's an unusual family. His sister Loyal Shadow took 14 tries to break her maiden before winning another 4 and $170k. Appreciate everyone being patient with Pal. We did right by him with the surgery and time off and he rewarded us today. Shaping up to be a fun summer with him, Toy Cannon and Corybant, as well as Spondulix and tomorrow's debuting One Revolution..

Bill.. Thank you and congratulations yourself! Thoroughly delighted that you hit and that Pal got it done. So pleased that those giving him a chance were rewarded so handsomely. Was a great thrill watching him today.

Steve - Is there a way we can order photos of Pal in the Winner's Circle? Sure would make a timely Father's Day present.

it's probably a real good thing got busy at work this afternoon and didn't have the race on cause there mighta been a big ruckus! Hope Pal made it safe and sound back to the barn and had a good dinner, am having a nice one myself THANKS TO PAL! :{>: many thanks to all those who put the hard work into this horse, looking forward to many more of these victory threads, now off to FINALLY see the replay lol, best regards to all...
