Diamond Joe, tied with Clean Jean for most 2012 wins just finished 10th in the Oklahoma Derby on 9/30 after reeling off 9 straight wins.

She now leads in 2012 wins with 10. 3 horses tied for 2nd with 9 each. Diamond Joe, entered on 11/10 race 8 at Remington, Hello Lover, last won at Parx on 11/3, and Bringingdown Babel, last won at Calder on 11/3.

After winning his final race of 2011 on 12/3 at Parx, 6 yr old Not For Love gelding Hello Lover, was claimed by his current owners for $7,500 on 1/3/12 after winning that race at Parx too. Trained by Robert E. Reid Jr. he has won $276,020 this year including 3rd in the Greenwood Cup S. at Parx and 4th in the Birdstone S. at Saratoga. After finishing 2nd on 9/6/09 at Monmouth, he has was off almost 2 years until a 2nd place comeback finish on 7/10/11 in a $5k claimer at Monmouth for his original owner. Hello Lover boasts a 29-12-8-2 $370,580 career record.

Journeymare Bringingdown Babel is 3 for 3 at Calder this fall, currently trained by Martin Wolfson. The 5 yr old won her debut on 3/13/10 at Turfway. After finishing 8th at Churchill Downs in her 3rd race on 4/30/10 she was off 10 months until a winning comeback effort on 2/26/11. 2 races later a 6th place finish at Keeneland on 4/20/11 prompted another 7 month layoff until yet another comeback win on 11/13/11. The courageous Roman Ruler mare is 9 of 11 this year with 2 seconds. 20-13-3-0 $140,998 lifetime.

My Wandy's Girl has moved into a 4 way tie for second most 2012 wins with 9. In her stateside debut the swift 3 year old won the Pentelis S. at Aq on 11/15. The Camarero sensation is on a 9 race win streak after starting off the year 2nd in the G3 Clasico Ano Nuevo. Trained by Michael E. Hushion.

Breaking News Saginaw has moved into what is now a 5 way 2012 second place tie with 9 wins by just winning the Fourstars Allstar S at Aq. The 6 year old star gelding is trained by David Jacobson.

Winning Dubai has jumped into a 6 way tie for 2nd place with his 9th win of the year at Camarero. The rapid 3 yr old gelding, trained by Elias Rivera has run 19 times this year. The 2nd win of his 11 lifetime wins was by 28 L on 12/22/11.

Defying father time, 8 yr old gelding Conclave has made it a 7 way tie for 2nd place in 2012 wins. His 21st lifetime win came on 11/25 at Turf Paradise, 6f in 1:09.45 for instructor Sean Williams. 13-9-1-1 this year.

Showing that his mind is still on winning races Conclave rang up his sixth straight victory Sunday at Turf Paradise.
Ridden by Nate Smith for trainer Sean Williams, the 6-5 favorite Conclave ($4.40) was 6 ½ lengths clear of Lewkacy with Me Salty third in field of 12, $5,000 claimers.
Conclave, an 8-year-old gelding, scored twice at Les Boise Park to start his win skein, then once at Portland Meadows, followed by three more wins locally.
Owned by Mary Finch, Conclave has now won 21 of 52 starts for earnings of $264,652."

The 2012 Les Bois Park Inaugural S. champion was claimed out of this race by trainer Jared Brown for $4k.

Conclave was off from 12/11/2009 until 6/30/2011.

A determined daughter of Wildcat Heir, Secret Heiress, has made it an 8 way tie for 2nd place. The Samuel Breaux student won for the 9th time this year at Fair Grounds yesterday, 5.5f. She broke her maiden in her 2nd race as a 2yr old at Hollywood Park on 7/16/09. In her 4th race she permanently moved to Louisiana where she's 11-9-1 this year. Career 34-14-3-1.
