2013 derby winner to run Sunday

We finally get to see Revolutionary on Sunday. Lights out from the outside post.

Dahoss 10-28-2012 01:16 PM

You might want to hold off on the Louisville reservations. For a little while longer at least.

pointman 10-28-2012 01:22 PM

Wish I would have seen this thread before I bet the race.

Alabama Stakes 10-28-2012 02:23 PM

I told you we would see the derby winner. Beating Revolutionary was just to prove it. I thought I might get 5-1, but i guess y'all figured it out.. watch his last 1/8 he's still motoring past the finish line. What action, and leg speed. Little Distorted....

p.s. Fire and Rain

He's been hitting the blueberry diesel too much, I think.

Another big effort by Revolutionary today.

Don't discount the vision of AS through those cornrows. He must be 1 1/4 mile horse that only a true visionary can see as the Derby winner today.

The only thing missing from this extraordinary thread is a post from Goodcopy.

now you're getting the hang of it.

49ers wire to wire in a romp. 1st half and game. over gore MVP gore. first td GORE. GET THE PICTURE. They will runn it down their gizzard and then play action them into Vernon Davis land. 38-14

Calzone Lord 02-02-2013 11:25 PM

I haven't looked at the figures yet, but just from watching the race, the second place finisher was in that breakaway duel with Lucci The Lion last time out in a race that collapsed going 6f ... I have no idea how that horse wasn't loose today, and I have no idea how he ran so well on the true stretch out while strongly resenting the tactics.

Revolutionary was very visually impressive, but he beat a speed sprinter who fought his rider.

Second place should just cutback or feast on statebreds. Two sneaky strong performances in a row, but that horse isn't going to stay.

I'd book an appointment at a hair salon before you do anything.

I laughed.

It was almost a foregone conclusion that this clown was going to post in this thread today. He must feel a need to pat himself on the back after his self-appointed "sure fire" football picks were flushed down the $hitter.

Alabama Stakes 02-03-2013 12:16 PM

Superstar

just like I will after the Derby, Preakness, and Belmont. This guy is still learning. He has enough gas to be up into the race, and a great turn of foot. He's not too big and very athletic. when all those other guys a wheezing on the far turn, he'll just be getting rolling.....and roll by he will.

Cannon Shell 02-03-2013 02:54 PM

He is far from a cinch to get in at this point with only potentially 1 more prep.

which i found ridiculous when i read it in the b'horse story, and still can't believe.
how many more years will people run their horses like that before realizing it doesn't work?
perhaps cdi should put a minimum number of points or starts at 3 as a prerequisite to start in the derby-not just the 20 horses with the most points.

as a matter of fact. i just sent my hair to locks of love. Full beard shaved as well. I almost look presentable. The big cheese here put me on a cold hundred dolla exacta off of Revolutionary. Thanks Mr. Byk.
He looks awesome, has heart and athletic ability, and wants to run all day judging from his gallop outs.

I dont like this horse going forward, not at all. Perfect setup yesterday, super hot pace to run at. Finished slow and was all out to beat a horse that I dont think is much at all. I dont think this guy gets a call in the Derby.

redboarding on a hoss I posted about on oct 26 ?

I wonder if you'll be man enough to admit you were wrong after the derby.....like you (among many others) wouldn't do with Zen.

if you want to root against....$40 on Rev at 75-1, $10 ex box rev, vycheck, verrazano. future book 2

Future Pool 2 Revolutionary was 15-1. Not 75-1.

Not sure what I had to admit about Zenyatta, but I could point you to a couple dozen posts where I said she was great. Just not the best ever which apparently is difficult for some to distinguish.

You questioning me is pretty damn amusing though. And we both know why. Remember, you sweat me...not the other way around.

Alabama Stakes 04-01-2013 08:22 AM

Da Hoss was No Factor

you had a nice little run 2 years back, back when i was tailing you. You really haven't done squat for a while. You are strictly fade material these days. I know this is a tough pill to swallow, but it is true. You might be capable of regaining your form. You must work though, and spend less time sticking your nose in everything. Try watching some replays. Maybe Revolutionary's first start for one.
I do still sweat you....i want you to win. That's the difference between us. You want me to lose, but i don't care, i still hope you win.

oh and 75-1 was in vegas in the winter.
