Damn...they moved the Tampa Bay Stakes up a weekend this year. Oh well, just will have to go a week earlier this meet.:)

It will be interesting to see if there are more outfits move from Calder to Tampa this winter, being that on Dec 1 Calder will charge stall rent for the first time ($10 a day).

If I had any meaningful number of grass horses, I'd already be at Tampa instead of Calder.

You need to play from the regular men's tees. You hit it further than those guys anyway. Except Herks chip shots around the green. Nobody hits the ball that far.

Two side notes FWIW, That weekend of Feb 2nd is Super Bowl weekend (game is on the 3rd)

Secondly and more importantly they just opened a Tilted Kilt about 10 minutes from my house :D
