Out of the two evils, I'm definitely happier Daley is back in Chicago and gone from the WH. My "good news!" was because Daley was gone.

No. I've never said that.

I have said that I don't like big banks and bankers that break the law.

There is a huge difference. Try hard. Nuance: you can get it.

But wasn't Citibank one of if not the worst banking institutions in the last 10 years as far as their ethical practices? I don't know that Lew specifically broke the law, but I am sure his ethics could be in question considering what he did for the institution and when he did it.

Interesting that you feel that Scott Walker is guilty of something when a FORMER staffer is charged with a crime on an investigation he requested, but when Obama appoints someone who worked in the very division of a banking institution that caused many problems and issues that America faces today that you are ok with that. Makes sense.

wiphan... NOTHING makes sense when it comes to Riot

Actually it all makes sense. Democrats and Obama- can do no wrong and walk on water, crap gold bars, etc.

Republicans- crooks, big business, and completely unethical. Can do nothing right

Just don't know why I try to understand the logic. I guess it is morbid curiosity

Daley being an old school democrat did not fit in with Obama's cronies...not left enough. really need to push socialism to be in with this bunch

Yes. I agree with you. As I said, I'm happy Bill Daley is gone. I'm not happy because of Lew.

Do you get it now? "Bill Daley resigns". I say that's good news! Is that too hard for you, Anti and Danzig to understand? Really? Even after I explained it to you?

Excuse me - I don't feel that Scott Walker is guilty of something, and I've never said that. I would appreciate it if you would stop attributing things to me I've never said. I said that the John Doe investigation has come right up next to Scotty, with multiple of his former aids and aids being charged, and yes, we'll see what happens with the governor.

You, on the other hand, are the one that already called the aid a thief - yet the investigation isn't even over! Look in a mirror.

Really - many of you guys think in this false, assumptive, lemming-like way, that has little to no basis in reality. It really doesn't matter what people actually say or do, with a certain segment of the gullible populace that will think one way, no matter what the reality is.

The three of you look superficial, shallow and foolish here, calling names and deriding me for something I've never said, and don't think. Carry on. You guys are good at looking foolish and assumptive! You think like lemmings. Somebody agrees with you, and you're so narrow-minded you can't even understand it! LOL !

Antitrust32 01-10-2012 01:08 PM

riot your last post should be moved to the Has anyone Heard a good joke lately thread.

Riot - little or no basis in reality

Antitrust32 01-10-2012 01:10 PM

Dropping into the thread just to pile on?

Wiphan repeatedly has tried to characterize me as being anti-banker, anti-bank, anti-capitalism, and it's simply false. Wiphan knows it's false, as I've said it before. Yet keeps repeating it. You call me snooty for pointing out that's not true? Again?

Seriously? What is wrong with you?

Let's repeat: I posted that Bill Daley is gone from the White House. Never liked the job he did. I'm glad he's gone. That probably agrees with the thoughts of everyone posting on this thread.

Let the lemmings trying to start fights churn.

Clip-Clop 01-10-2012 01:39 PM

Jack Lew is one serious piece of garbage. The C.o.S. job just gets dirtier and dirtier.

I agree with you. I can't imagine how he was chosen. They should have just named Plouffe.

Now, I'm sure that Danzig, Wiphan, Anti and HerkHorse will attack my professed love of Obama's new appointment LOL!

It is an angle play by Obama in the election year. He needs a Jewish figure to get the votes he has been losing rapidly.

It's a terrible angle play, given Lew's history. How can Obama embrace the meme of the 99% with Lew as Chief of Staff?

Don't buy the vote angle. The Republicans have always been trying to churn that meme up, but the intermittent polls that I've seen don't show much true erosion.

Bill Daley has been talking about leaving for a couple months, Obama couldn't talk him out of it. He had time and could have done far better than Lew.

His history as a $ guy is a good one actually. Believe what you will but there isn't a better explanation I could think of for this decision. guy makes almost zero sense for the job.
