If Congress and the Supreme court run the country then how did Bush alone ruin everything.....the Congress was controlled by Democrats for almost all of the years he was President. I have read it here many times about how the President cant do anything without Congressional support so which is it? the only time republicans didn't control at least one branch of congress was the last two years of his eight year term. they had both from 2003-2007. that's hardly "almost all the years he was president".
