The official Snow Fairy thread

Well she's talked about so many different places here so figured we should do this instead of updating whatever thread (diva of the world, were going to Dubai, etc.).

It's official... she'll go to the Sheema Classic instead of the Dubai World Cup.

_ed_ 03-05-2011 05:59 PM

I love watching this horse. I hope she's as good this season as she was last year! She must be hard to beat in the Sheema Classic if she is.

clyde 03-05-2011 06:45 PM

yes!!!!

my miss storm cat 03-20-2011 01:36 PM

To reiterate what was posted elsewhere (on Dubai chit chat), she's out.

my miss storm cat 07-01-2011 05:43 AM

Anyone else think she'll beat them both and win the Coral-Eclipse?

clyde 07-01-2011 08:25 AM

I don't know...I want NoseDrops to come back.

King Glorious 07-02-2011 12:07 PM

She ran fourth. So You Think wore down Workforce in the lane to win going away.

Excuse me, but is your name NoseDrops?

Ah don't thank so.

CSC 08-16-2011 09:06 AM

Miss Stormcat, heads up, she's running this Thursday in the Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks.

my miss storm cat 08-16-2011 11:46 AM

Thanks my friend... didn't know!

Just went to look... who do you think wins here... SF or Blue Bunting or someone else?

If the ground is good, I gotta take Snow Fairy, but she hasn't come back off of her 2 good efforts in Asia as well as I expected her to. Her last race should set her up well for this.

my miss storm cat 08-17-2011 06:26 PM

Whoa she's out!

http://www.thoroughbrednews.com.au/i....aspx?id=54813

To the Prix Jean Romanet instead...

my miss storm cat 08-18-2011 05:27 PM

As an aside Blue Bunting did, of course, win...

Un****ingbelievable.

Dunlop fury as Snow Fairy denied French run

http://www.racingpost.com/news/horse...international/

_ed_ 08-20-2011 10:40 PM

That rule makes no sense!

CSC 08-29-2011 08:50 AM

I heard there is now dialogue to change this obsure rule, Snow Fairy is now looking at the Irish Champion stakes against males, not ideal but according to Dunlop, her campaign will depend on the ground. Not an ideal start to her 2011 campaign, where she was supposed to race on the Dubai World Cup card but was sidelined due to injury. Have a feeling she will be at the BC at Churchill this fall, where the turf course is usually good and firm.

CSC 10-02-2011 11:48 AM

She's had a fairly light campaign this year, is the BC up next? I would be shocked if it isn't.

my miss storm cat 10-02-2011 11:58 AM

No idea what's next but can't wait to see...

That would be awesome if she came!

Yes, they will make sure that she came out of the race in good shape first, the calendar certainly fits, BC in 5 weeks and then onto HK Cathay Pacific Intl day in December to end the year.

my miss storm cat 10-03-2011 11:12 AM

Looks like Japan and then Hong Kong...

my miss storm cat 11-28-2011 01:49 PM

Wasn't sure where exactly to put this since she's on the Japan (wasn't she ****ing brilliant?!) and the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International race day threads but figured it belongs here.

Bad news...

At least the good news is she WILL return next year.

Snow Fairy withdrawn from Hong Kong

It is with great disappointment that we report SNOW FAIRY suffered an injury this morning at Sha Tin racecourse whilst doing a routine canter. We have therefore withdrawn her from The Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Vase and she will return to England when she is fit to travel.

Although this is a major disappointment for us we are enormously proud of what she achieved in Japan earlier this month and we will advise everyone of her progress, as soon as she has returned home.

clyde 11-28-2011 02:09 PM

On your behalf---I do hope her boo boo gets well soon and she returns to run circles in fast fashion.

SnowBerry reminds me of Strawberry which reminds me of---------------I forgot.
