I just listened to Howie on my way to work (replay of yesterday's show on XM). Having trainers like him on ATR is a big part of what has made me such a big fan of the show. Listening to him takes me back to my own times at farms and training centers, when a trainer or jockey would get into a conversation that soon had dozens of listeners gathered around and turned into a seminar for youngsters like I was then. There's just no substitute for experience, and when someone like Howie opens up I'm all ears. Thanks, Steve, for getting these gentlemen on the air for guys like me to hear. It keeps me connected in a way that I can't get anywhere else.
