KD R3 - 12 has to get a pretty loose lead and should love the turf. Decent sized bet here.

Tony Farina apparently didn't agree.

That should've been a no-brainer. Not sure how things would've panned out if he had ridden her like he should have, though.

Screw this track. It's Turfway Lite. Maker, Ward, Maker, Ward, Maker, Ward, Maker, Ward. God forbid some actual trainers run horses there.

The purses suck and it's a four-day meet. Do you want Pletcher to have a string down there?

Keeneland's two weeks away, it's not like there aren't good trainers with turf horses in Kentucky right now.

hockey2315 09-20-2010 03:46 PM

So why waste them at KD? I know that Romans left at least one of his turf horses in NY because he said there was nowhere worth running her in KY right now.

hoovesupsideyourhead 09-20-2010 03:55 PM

pick 4 4/6/7 with 5/6 with 4/7/11 with 1/4/7/12

Thanks. . . Just want to get to the last leg where some bombs look live.

hockey2315 09-20-2010 04:37 PM

Race unfolded exactly how I hoped, but the 5 was just too good. Darn.

9 wins - took some late $ to be 7-1.

Exacta = $67.60 per $2

hockey2315 09-20-2010 05:10 PM

Then I'll refrain from giving you a lecture.

hockey2315 09-20-2010 05:17 PM

I really didn't like the way the race set up for the horse.

hockey2315 09-20-2010 05:20 PM

Betting the 7 to win here. . . Rooting for the 11.

You had a great idea, wanted to get live to the last, and left out a 3:5 shot. Too many opinions kill a winning Pick-4/6 strategy.

hockey2315 09-20-2010 05:24 PM

You're right.

hockey2315 09-20-2010 05:37 PM

At least I hit the double! YA!

Assuming the 12 got second I might have gotten out for the day.

You had great opinions both days at KY Downs.

hockey2315 09-20-2010 05:41 PM

Thanks. Glad you hit that. Needed the exacta photo the other way there, but it's inconsequential at this point.
