Dooley

Really, really good call of a weirdly run Million. The dude is as good as anyone in my book.

I'm glad to see you coming around to Chicago racing. He's the goods day in and day out. Cool customer.

Heh, don't listen to Scav, I have nothing against Chicago racing. And I play Fair Grounds pretty often in the winter, so I'm well acquainted with Dooley's skill level.

hockey2315 08-21-2010 08:08 PM

Agree. . . He's just as good as anyone save Durkin at his best.

You think AP might ever get to the point where they can actually time all their races? They missed at least one today.

You just like Dooley because he's from Long Island, J/K. He's as solid as they come. Yeah, I was just taking a shot after your battle with Scav. I can see Dooley replacing Durkin one day.

I'm not familar with that, maybe Brian Spencer or someone else can answer. The disclaimer reads * About a mile on the Turf

VOL JACK 08-21-2010 10:35 PM

DaBoooosey really bailed my sorry ass out today.
What a effing turn of foot....Unreal.

I only used 4 in the pick four in the Million and they run 1-4.
Do I bother to play the Super???:o

Which do you think was better today....Dooley's call of the Arlington Million or Joel Rosario's ride on Blind Luck?

Dooley is a top race caller. I have him ranked 3rd behind Durkin and Larry Collmus. Did you not like his call of The Million today ?

I can't decide. I have John's phone number. It's after midnight in Chicago and he had a very big and I'm quite sure tiring day. On the other hand I'm sure he'd be absolutely THRILLED:zz: with the news that you have him ranked 3rd. What to do? What to do:confused:

Well Durkin is a legend and the best. Collmus has been an up and comer and and one can argue that he is the top caller out there these days. His work at Gulfstream each year gets better and better. So Dooley being ranked 3rd is no slouch.

That seals it for me. Now I know what the right thing to do is. I'm calling John right now and telling him you think he's no slouch. Thank you.

Good idea. I have Larry's number too. I'll tell him you rank him #2 and therefore less of a slouch than John. But not as good as Tom. After 1:00am on the Jersey shore but I'm sure Larry would not want to wait for this news. Dialing. Anything else?

Yeah. You should probably give Ron Ebanks a call and congratulate him after today's Alabama.

v j stauffer 08-22-2010 12:53 AM

You may not know this about me. I too like to make rankings. I recently ranked all human beings. You finished 2nd!!:tro: Congrats. The rest of the population of earth tied for first:eek:

I don't miss being either Rosario or Garcia's agent. Don't get me wrong the $$$ was great. Tyler Baze is better suited though for me and my lifestyle and philosphies. I really enjoy working for Tyler. I respect and admire everything Joel and Martin are accomplishing. They're both good guys and great riders.

You need to hire a 24/7 editor who approves things you say or write. It's obvious you do like trouble though.

How about you? You seem to have alot of answers. The job is yours if you want it. In fact that sounds like an excellent idea. This way you can carry on a conversation with me and I won't have to be involved.

I'd rate bin Laden ahead of the two of you.

Nah....I'll pass. I find it humorous when you open your trap and all hell breaks loose.

You can get involved in this. You only have one leg to stand on.
