no.
more importantly for this Contract year. Will there be professional football next year? Brandon Marshall says no, and that he's going to try out for the NBA during the lockout next year. Will the NFL become the MLB of the 90's? |

Everyone is down on New England and picking them to finish 3rd in their division because of how they faded last year.
Brady was playing through 6 broken ribs, Moss had a seperated shoulder at the start of the season and developed a back injury so bad that he couldn't touch the top of his helmet without feeling pain. Welker got hurt in the final reg season game - and his replacement Edellman was a college qb the year prior and had to play with a broken forearm late in the season. That's not a healthy team .. but they still won a tough AFC East despite fading down the stretch anyway. |
The Pats are on the decline dude, start accepting it.

You're going to get incredible football out of Moss this year. It's his last shot at scoring one more final fat contract.
Brady was coming off of a major injury last year and played through more injury. Look what Favre did last year when healthy .. and Favre is older than dirt. Brady isn't. How bad can a Bellichik coached defense be? |

Mayo and Marryweather are quality starters coming into what should be the prime of their career. The rookie CB they took in the first round looked good starting yesterday. The offense is basically the same group that set the NFL record for points scored in 2007. It's the same offense that went 11-5 under Matt Cassell in 2008. The offense finished 6th in the NFL in total points scored last year .. despite the "excuses" of injuries to your best players. |
It's too early for this s.hit.

Draft Moss in your fantasy league. 3Kings did in the DT Fantasy League last year - and he won the league. |

The days of Moss's dominance obviously haven't passed if you read the reports coming out of the Pats training camp by everyone covering them. Do you really think Brady is toast at this young of an age? I've seen guys like Rich Gannon and Brett Favre play otherworldly at qb while older than dirt. The running game will be there at will if Moss is there with the deep ball. That's how offenses end up unstoppable when he gets going. Torry Holt is a future hall of fame receiver that's younger than Moss - that rookie tight end out of Arizona can block like a mofo - Welker and Edellman are good system guys in the slot. The only thing I don't feel good about is the offensive line and the defense - but I think there's a good chance both will be competent. |

That guy is unreal. |
He looks like strictly a blocking tight end the best I could tell from yesteday - but he blocks well from the looks of it.
The other TE that was a high draft pick - the one from Florida - he wasn't impressive. |

Hernandez has decent speed & good hands, though who knows how that will translate to the NFL though. Gronkowski, on the other hand, is an absolute beast. If he can stay healthy, he will be a force for a long long time. He is a terrific blocker, and has GREAT hands. Best player to come from the U of A in a long long time (not that it means much). He had a cult like following at U of A. Was out last year from a back injury, but in the two years he started, he put up unheard of TE #'s. 75 catches, 1,197 yards and 16 TD (that stat alone is ridiculous) The man had such soft hands, and is so big (6'5 1/2" 265 lbs), that once he has a year or two in the league, even NFL linebackers wont be a match for him. He lowers his shoulders and runs over anyone. Will drag a LB 10 yards after being hit. You guys got a real player. I hope he stays healthy. |

Ty Warren is done for the season. That NE's best DL. Well Aaron Schobel is available.
