What's next?

Watching his appearance on The View and choking on a pretzel.

I would love to see him choke on a pretzel. I will never waste my time watching him on television. I would rather watch Food Network, TVG, or Cartoon Network. Hopefullly if he did choke on pretzel no one knows the Heimlich Manuver.

Wow. You're just brimming with class.

Perhaps, given your very warm and kind comments about Haitians and their AIDS, it would be a bit much to ask you to understand the difference between hating someone and wishing they were dead.

Tough distinction, I know.

not wishing he'd choke to death does not automatically mean someone kisses his ass. you are aware that there is a middle ground? or maybe i'm giving you way too much credit.

i don't know why i bother.

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men.

Very good observation you just made. I wouldnt want to on a show with Elizabeth Hasselback. She has to one the most annoying person on television.

It's a horrible show. There is a land monster on it who thinks it's possible the earth is still flat.

Joey, I agree that the choke comment is wrong on every level. There is absolutely no defense of that, reguardless who the comment is directed at.
But the respect because he's the president quip is comical, based on all the crack/jokes made about the prior administration. The last guy that was the president was an absolute punching bag and unjustly didn't get the respect that he deserved as commander an chief.

It's one thing to call a guy stupid (and come on, they don't get much dumber than him) or incompetent, it's another to wish him dead.

Most people probably won't agree with this, but I don't think anybody deserves any extra respect just because they're the president. I don't see how hoping that Bush or Obama choke on a pretzel is any worse than hoping that anybody else chokes on a pretzel. The whole "respect the office" thing seems kind of "un-American" to me. They aren't freaking royalty. The president works for us.
I don't like Nascar1966's statement, but not because it was about the president. If he had said it about the Secretary of State, or the White House janitor, or the previous president, or Lebron James.....same deal.

that is absolutely ridiculous. what's the worst part: she got the job, that people watch, or that people believe her?

She fits the stay-at-home super-christian mom demographic.

Yeah, a tradition that only 12 presidents in the last century have skipped. Reagan didn't go. Did he also have NO respect for the American people?

He respects some of the people, just not the taxpayers.

joey why do you think bush was stupid / incompetent .....is that because the media portrayed him that way?

9/11 happened and we responded with swift action that has kept the enemy on the run since that date, obama has done a good job on this as well

i really don't see how obama is any smarter or dumber than bush , he hasn't really been a messiah that the media has portrayed him to be

bush could have done more pre 9/11 to disrupte al queda , but when they asked clinton right after 9/11 his immediate response was that it was osama bin laden and he know it right away , my question to u is why didn't clinton do more to disrupte al queda from '95 on besides lobbing a few missles at him once?

the other thing nobody talks about is that the stock market collapsed and we had a mild recession right after clinton left office , he didn't exactly leave things as rosy as the media portrayed for bush

That has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence.

You can't turn the disaster Bush left behind around in the span of 18 months. And really it's not that hard to make it worse.

Face it, your boy was a colossal failure.

It wouldn't surprise me if Bush is smarter than Obama. Not at all.

Teleprompter aside, what makes you guys think he's so "brilliant"?

He never even gets a hard question -- with everything as scripted as it is in the few press conferences he has given.

Whatever charisma he allegedly has is not reaching me, at all.

yeah , again , please give me specific examples to prove that obama is smarter beisdes these silly video games

bush failed with katrina

obama failed with the bp spill

the yboth lacked key leadership abilities and neither one had a grasp of the situation

if you think anything differntly than the meida bias swayed you

Coach Pants 07-29-2010 08:26 PM

Put it this way...

I would book action on an IQ test between the two. You don't become President of the Harvard Law Review by making up new words like strategory.
