Lebron James Predictions
I am going to go out on a limb here. At first I thought that he was going to stay in Cleveland and I still think that there is a chance that he might stay. The more I think about it though, the more the Knicks make sense. I know that there is a lot of handwriting on the wall that says Miami at this point but I can't imagine him doing that. To me, that would be an extremely weak move for the best player in the world.
New Orleans doesnt have the money to pay Chris Paul. The knicks have money and expiring contracts. Couldnt they package up expiring contracts along with picks? And if not for Paul, couldnt they get Arenas or any number of other second tier players? Wouldnt guys play for less to be on THAT team in new york in THAT system? And if not in New york, couldn't they do that in Cleveland? I say New York or Cleveland but New York would be my choice as to where he goes. |
^^^^ Philski picking...hasn't the foggiest.

At this point, I would say the chances of him going back to Clevland are about 7%.... Miama 60% and the Knicks 33%... Knicks have a longshot chance here, because him and Amare can compete with Wade and Bosh, especially if they make this trade with GS, get some young talent and maybe Mike Miller??? |
I say he goes to the Nets.

Mike Miller is pretty overrated to me. I guess for what they would want him to do he would be fine but he is not what I would want in a gunner. I think the Knicks would be better than Miami with Lebron with or without any other trades. Lebron/amare vs. wade/bosh? Give me lebron/amare any time. |
The Nets is the perfect organization for him. You have a guy with endless pockets and a rap star as minority owner. LeBron can do songs with Jay about how great they are.
Plus they are moving to Brooklyn in two years. |

It will come down to some scumbag politician wanting his palm greased to stop it. Because Dolph Lundgren has the money to build it. |
I'm skeptical because they cleared the ground for this thing like 10 years ago and it's just been sitting there collecting garbage. Something tells me they won't finish it in 24 months if it ever gets done.
As for TheBron, he'll go to Miami if he's a puss, Cleveland if he has any decency and the Knicks/Nets if he has any balls. My guess is Miami. |

To be clear, I think Wade is at WORSE THE THIRD BEST PLAYER IN THE NBA, IM A BIG WADE GUY. |

Your argument is flawed, BIG TIME.... They won 127 games because of Lebron, thats why he is the 2x defending MVP. He should walk, and not feel bad about it. |

They could do without LeBron and try to somehow get Carmelo midseason. That team would be unstoppable. |

If Lebron went back to Clevland, why worry about it? No way they get enough parts to make that team competitive with anything Miami fills the roster in with. |

This is crap...I dont even want to aruge with you guys about it, because I like the Celtics and I love Wade, but this is GARBAGE. Lebron, is likely to win the next 5 MVPS... On talent alone he might be the best player ever, and we are going to sit here and hate on him? You would not take Lebron for Paul or Ray? |

Odds are he goes back. |
Being from Cleveland, we've always found ourselves being screwed in the most bizare way in the sporting world. I say he announces his retirement. He's done enough.

You failed to keep up. I reanimated as everyone knows. It was right there in black and white.
Coach then died and will update tonight at 9 if he is still dead. Are you still frozen? Really...don't answer. |
Stay tuned at 9:09 EST!!
BRB gotta find a mirror. |

Oh well.
You are staying surprisingly even tempered, considering. Franny gets unconscionably cranky in heat. |

I think I'm buying too much into this unnecessary production going on tonight. But it really isn't needed especially if he was going back to Cleveland. Don't see it happening and that's why this conference is not in Ohio somewhere.
If the Nets were going into Brooklyn this season, I think they would have had a big chance. But Lebron in Newark for a couple of seasons (at the least) I just don't see it. The reports are saying Miami and a team that clearly belongs to D Wade. I just don't see Lebron playing second fiddle at this point of his career. You would think that Lebron wants to be the straw that stirs the drink. Not the guy who helped D. Wade get rings number 2,3 and so on. Brings it down to 2 teams, Chicago who clearly has the better cast and New York. While I used to love the Knicks before Isiah and Dolan turned the organization into a laughing stock and would love to see Lebron play there, I really can't come up with a good reasons (on the court) why he should come to N.Y.. But the city would certainly embrace the King. If he's thinking about other things besides basketball then the city that doesn't sleep might be his playground. The Bulls on the other hand already have a supporting cast that could win sooner than later with him being the star attraction. He already gave up #23 and now he could follow in his idol's footsteps and try to match some of the records and championships that MJ established. The cons are he's not MJ and he would be going into his beloved Cleveland as a villian many more time being in the same division. Bottom line is my heart says NY, but if I had to bet I would take Chicago. Now that I have mushed those 2 teams, he will probably end up back in Cleveland. |
Please dart me.
