That deserves its own thread. Very impressive effort tonight at Prairie Meadows breaking the track and stakes records in 1:07.24.

I crushed it!

The question is, how long until this horse gets jinxed?
|
That was a super impressive performance. Not that far off of the all time 6F record. The number may not come up as high as you might think though, since Secret Gypsy (who is capable of a big performance) went 1:08 1/5.

I tried to warn you guys. . .

See my post at about the same time. I got a little lucky that they pounded Atta Boy Roy in the win pool so all I played was an exacta box of those two. $18.80 isn't going to pay the bills but it's something. |

4yo Harlans Holiday colt bought by Padua for 375k. Debuted in January this year in what has been his only loss. He's now won 4 in a row. |
He was actually RNA'd for 25K as a yearling before selling for 370K at age 2.
He had a nice 10.20 unblinkered preview more than two years ago. http://www.obssales.com/aprcatalog/2008/1319.wmv Took him forever to make the races. |
Satish Sanan always has classy names for his horses

I don't think your first attempt showed up.
That, and anything under 118 is not worth noting. |

I should have said since Beyers were published in like 1991 ... there could have been others before that.

It's a shame Prospect Bay's career was cut short.. he was a good one. Most people probably don't remember him.. ![]() |
A little visual aid..
Prospect Bay.. 1996 at Belmont: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXyflCmclN4 1995 at Saratoga: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9mB00I2_U0 |
Caller One and Prospect Bay had a half sister by Unbridled's Song who was fast as hell as well.
http://www.pedigreequery.com/unbridled+sidney Not many 5f female turf sprint specialists make over 600K. |
She was a really nice one. I remember her running five furlongs in :54 at Calder, which is completely unheard of.

This isn't Jr. High debate club Randall.... and while most people rightfully become arrogant pricks when a keyboard is in front of us and we log onto these cesspools looking for action ... I'd enjoy the warm and fuzzy version of BTW you get here.

I'll give you credit for one thing, unlike others here that use PMs to lie about me, at least you do it out in the open. |
