Mickelson!

wow - some fab golf on now

mclem0822 04-10-2010 05:02 PM

Tiger just made a birdie he's only 4 back, it's gonna be a great Sunday!

declansharbor 04-10-2010 05:15 PM

I win a good amount of coin if Ricky Barnes cracks the top 5.

Great golfing for sure.

Great golfing for sure.

Unless he takes the lead, you aren't going to see much of him today. It will be all Phil, all Tiger, all the time (with a bit of Couples if he is playing well) on CBS.

I understand that thinking, but personally would enjoy if the mixed in a few other guy's shots a bit more.

Good luck with your wager.

Sunday at The Masters is one of the few days of the year I give a crap about golf, but this seems like the most interesting final round in years.

Bigsmc 04-11-2010 12:45 PM

Did anybody just catch Sergio putting into the water on 12? He was putting for birdie from just off the back of the green, blew it by and into the water. He ended up with a 6.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I laughed. and yes, I watched.

One of my favorite days in sports. Come on Ricky 'don't lose that number' Barnes...Bring it today baby, revert back to thursdays form. I'll even settle for the 70 he shot on Friday.

I'm pulling for Westwood to shoot a sub 70. Would be the FIRST TIME EVER at the Masters, to shoot four rounds of sub 70 golf. I love this $hit!!

philcski 04-11-2010 02:10 PM

I don't think I've ever seen a bird take a dump in the middle of a putt line!

declansharbor 04-11-2010 02:11 PM

Was Mickleson's shot going in if it werent for the pinecone?

Is that what it was? That was CRAZY, being his position on the leaderboard.

The commentators were calling it a pinecone but it looked like a turd to me!

Didn't Phil reach down and pick it up after his putt? I'm pretty sure he wouldn't do that if it was bird ****.

declansharbor 04-11-2010 02:58 PM

El Tigre with the probable shot of the day! WOW

Bigsmc 04-11-2010 03:28 PM

Good God, can Couples actually keep this going?

Dammit bro, I hope he does. Would love to see Freddy win it.

I just want somebody older than me to win.

Is it wrong that I find myself rooting for KJ Choi? I don't know anything about him, but he seems classy. He and Tiger have gotten along great all week and he's had to deal with 4 rounds with Tiger. Dude is flat out steady.

Not wrong at all. Choi winning would be great too.

brockguy 04-11-2010 03:40 PM

I love Choi - he's played such solid golf all week..

i dont know if i can resist the bait :)

Choi in the zone now - would herald the new world order in Golf - Koreans all the way. Isnt there like a ridiculous amount of good Koreans on the women's tour?!?

declansharbor 04-11-2010 03:56 PM

I'm in agreeance with everyone with Choi. Steady, as Bigs said.

Yeah, like 8 of the top 10 women are Korean.

If I could get the Betfair live price of 5/2 on KJ Choi I would take it in size right now... he is just unflappable right now. Throw in a little Couples at 35-1(?!?!?)

Not just Koreans, but Asians in general. Se Ri Pak can claim most of the credit for that.

philcski 04-11-2010 04:12 PM

Almost $29 million through the windows on the Masters on Betfair with 8 holes to go... WOW!!!

brockguy 04-11-2010 04:24 PM

AK joining the partay!!

declansharbor 04-11-2010 04:42 PM

Did Mickleson really just do that? Jesus H.

That was pretty neat. And when the announcer said this very well could be the tournament, I sat up in my chair.

I'm there with you, even if he pulled the subsequent putt.

Bigsmc 04-11-2010 04:51 PM

Atta boy Tiger.

brockguy 04-11-2010 05:50 PM

Done deal, but you have to teach me that Irish accent that someway, somehow, helps even a guy like you pull chicks.
