Who Should Be the Five Heisman Finalists?

In my opinion and in no particular order:

Spiller

gerhart

Ingram

Tebow

Suh

Antitrust32 12-06-2009 04:19 PM

Ingram should be Heisman and Bama should be National Champs soon. They are good!

I wouldnt have a problem with Ingram. He is some kind of back and will be a wonderful pro.

You have to love spiller though. That guy is simply amazing.

timmgirvan 12-06-2009 04:25 PM

Gerhart!

if MI doesn't win, (Bama won't have the heisman jinx in the NCG) then i vote for gerhardt.
mccoy out played tebow all year. suh and spiller are an interesting twist.

Seriously, the closest thing I've ever seen to a good white tailback is Robert Smith.

gerhardt is an old school bulldozer. he can run, block and catch passes. he'd look great in black and gold!

Robert Smith that was on the Vikings? I think he was 1/2 black.

Clearly the DT from Nebraska is the best player in college football. That wont win him the Heisman but he looks like the closest thing to Reggie White that I have seen. How freakin strong is that guy?

Red Grange.

There was a corner back that use to play for the skins named Brian Davis who was white.

How many white corner backs can you name?

Jason Sehorn was always vastly overrated because he was white.

ARyan 12-06-2009 06:29 PM

Spiller, Gerhart and Ingram should be the only three in NY .

Suh - should be the best pro
Gerhart
Tebow

Ingram, Tebow, McCoy, Suh and Gerhart. Kinda BS that Spiller got snubbed for Tebow, but I guess they needed the ratings.

ARyan 12-07-2009 06:53 PM

Its a joke that Spiller did not get invited. He was the most electrifying player in College Football this year.

IMO, tebow has no business there this year but he's a Sr. and past winner. honestly, i won't be all that shocked if he wins again. the media lovefest with st. timmy continues.

He has no shot after this past weekend.

Ingram should win.. though Suh is the best player and the white boy RB is pretty darn good too!

miraja2 12-08-2009 08:41 AM

As a Mizzou alum and fan, I'm obviously biased, but I think Danario Alexander deserves to be in New York ahead of Tebow.
People who didn't see the Tigers much this year probably don't realize that Alexander totally dominated the Big 12, and (I think) finished 1st in the country in receiving yards. I'm not saying he deserves to win, but he should be top five over Tebow.

Danzig 12-08-2009 08:42 AM

had tebow not been a past winner, he wouldn't be on the list at all.
