Obama's guy a "lifer"

We hear Riot complain so much about the "Birthers". Well, well a whack job is a member of Obama's inner circle of advisors. Van Jones #47. The green czar is a nut job. Nice choice of an advisor.

You cant possibly think that the avg American citizen thinks that a guy who believes that 9/11 was a secret govt plot is a good choice to head anything offical with the WH blessing do you? Obama's choices for many top positions weem to have not been properly vetted. Or they were and him being a far left radical simply didnt care.

Signing a petition to investigate 9/11 doesn't make you a whacko. You guys throw that kind of language around too easily. And no, I don't think Bush knew about it, although it wouldn't surprise me if he did.

dellinger63 09-04-2009 08:25 AM

Jimmy Carter reported a U.F.O. sighting (actually took the time to do so) and he became President.

a lot of folks are "conspiracy theorists"...did we walk on the moon? who shot jfk? are there still martians in roswell? and, was 9/11 planned out? i'd say only about 23.5 % are nut jobs. maybe he is, maybe he isn't.

A lot of folks aren't govt czars either. This isnt just a private citizen, he is a key advisor to the President and supposedly a main cog in the "green recovery".

Signing a petition that investigates our own govt's involvment is extreme at the very least. They basically were saying that 9/11 was a plot created by our govt. That is a wacko to me.

And you know as well as I do that your last statement is not only ridiclous but especially so in light of your second sentence.

for the record, i don't think 9/11 was planned, but if this guy does think it was planned under bush, maybe he'll "advise" obama not to let it happen under him.

You would be surprised what I think Bush did, knew etc. If DT were around in 2000-2003, I would make you look moderate.

He is far left (which I have no problem with) but you would be hard pressed to find two individuals farther to the right on the NeoCon agenda than the two individuals Bush picked to be his Vice President and first Secretary of Defense. Neither administration's decisions should be shocking. Every administration is bound to consist of a mixture of the elements that make up the party that won the election.
In my opinion, the Obama administration should be faulted for picking way too many moderate/conservative advisors. I mean....Ray LaHood? In the cabinet? That decision still baffles me. Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, is about as liberal as Richard Nixon.
So, if there happens to be a few actual leftists in there too.....good.

miraja2 09-05-2009 08:33 AM

That being said, I think the people who think the September 11th attacks were the result of a government conspiracy are completely and totally wrong.

You forgot to preface with the fact that you are also an avid communist and feel that Karl Marx got a raw deal.

Ray LaHood is a IL hood with mob ties, easy to understand why he was named.

And should not be holding semi-important govt positions

:D
I consider myself more a passive quasi-socialist than an "avid communist."
In fact, other than Mizzou sports, I'm not "avid" about much of anything.

So you reversed mushed on the game today?

Exactly.
No, I really thought it might be a long day (and perhaps season) for Mizzou given how much they lost from last year. They sure looked good yesterday though, and Gabbert looked especially strong.
Although, it being the first game of the season, it is difficult to tell if the Tigers are actually pretty good or if the Illini are just another collection of Zook underachievers.

Another victim of a smear campaign! I love it. In his case the smears were simply his big mouth and poor judgement.

Congrats..I'll google "Republican Failed APPOINTments" and just start posting those..I vote Democrat as I always do and am very happy because all the whining about budgets has kept the emphasis off the real social issues I care about. Rock on right...
